In a few days!

The alignment shop isn’t going to touch the upper arms. Especially if it’s the dealer or some shop that doesn’t do a lot of p cars. They’ll just adjust the toe and camber via the eccentric bolts. Your alignment isn’t going to be extreme enough to need shims or anything. Tarett makes lockouts for both toe and camber arms. The upper arms come into play if you’re running a ton of camber and want to increase track width. The only benefit you’re really going to achieve right not is less deflection from the rubber.

Head mount is great for under car or in wheel well shots where we otherwise wouldn't be able to see much

You can pull 1000 hp out this engine without much mods to the engine itself and or tranny. Yes it will be very expensive more than what you paid for the car. The engine has to go to a shop to be overlooked etc. A tune for starters with Bigger snails bigger intercooler more gas MO POWAH. It will garner a lot of views surely as modding any Poorshe into a Tesla slayer warms every man’s heart!!All thanks to Hans Mezger the Legend. You are probably thinking well this engine is old. My friend this is one of the best engines ever built by Porsche or anyone period.

To hit 1000hp on the mezger it needs upgraded rods and head studs so the engine needs torn apart and the bottom end needs upgraded. Then all it needs a pair of big turbos, intercoolers, exhaust, intake, injectors, fuel pump, and e85 tuning.

I am 1 of the 3.1%, coming along very nicely, you have saved it from a crusher, no doubt.

Torque for control arm to body is 74 ft/lbs. Torque for control arm to wheel carrier is 56 ft/lbs.

I have some 996 wheels sitting in my yard, not the hollow spokes however. Car looks good, noticed some wheel rub in the back fender that went through? Can't wait for the 700hp turbo kit.

1st Love all the tools, and the fact that you have a limited space makes you very organize. 2nd. If this is a dally driver have a professional install paint protection film, the paint is so nice that you want to protect. 3rd there was a spot in your lance.

The plan is a rebuild on a GT3, 997 Turbo, or GT4.

Go Pro works well in fairness. It's really hard to set up shots for any work on the suspension with static unless you have a 2 or 4 post. Camera work has definitely improved since the start of this project 👌👌

The angle of the shot and the color and look of the car at 17:10 is gorgeous. That yellow has grown on me so much and Ive never been a yellow fan haha. Also one thing to mention when talking to viewers about subscribing, maybe mention how much they could learn from subscribing and seeing the entire build on this car. Your videos have helped me self diagnose and repair quite a few things I was stumped on for my 996. Love the content Matt.

Man, the suspension is looking great. Those ramps are a must have! That was the first thing I had to go out and buy when I got the 996, I have the same kind of driveway and my car had the Turbo ground effects kit so getting in and out of the driveway was a nightmare. But, why change the wheels? The black wheels look sick on the yellow! If the new ones are black thats cool, please dont go with anything other than black.

How is switching to the Rennline control arms better? The adjustments have a chance, (slim as it may), to loosen. The originals are solid one piece. Never in the history of anything, are 3 piece better/stronger than 1 piece. What am I missing?

More adjustment is needed for lowering, so I’m told. These have lock nuts and I don’t foresee them coming loose.

I'd guess there will be a bunch more NVH from the heim joints. Keep the stockers, and if its too much, sneak the rubber bushinged factory ones back in there when we're not looking. 😂

I think the factory subframe bushings will absorb a lot of the NVH from other suspension parts.

If you want to go that route look for a 996 or 997 non mezger model (turbo, gt3, and gt2 are mezgers) with a blown engine from a failed IMS or bore scoring. They will be far cheaper.

Oh amazing!!!! No more black rims. Thank god. Those black rims look like shit on the car. Worst colour for that car. The apex rims should of bin Anthracite or silver. And what about the hole in the front bumper.
