I’m glad Jeff’s still in the current band. He sort of bridges the gap between two Pumpkins eras. And he can really fucking play.

Yes Im so glad they kept Jeff even though James came back. Three guitarists makes perfect sense for The Pumpkins.

It's like a super-compact progressive rock song. Pop prog rock. Cool stuff.

Recently I returned to Zeitgeist after not listening to it for a while, I think it holds up really well! I mean, I liked it when it came out but it's grown on me even more since then.

It may not have been up to the lofty standards of EL Corgo's earliest Pumpkins work, but it was a very good album, and feel like he was at least trying. He's totally mailing it in these days.

Only high for SP standards. Pretty normal otherwise, especially considering they were working with Roy Thomas Baker (Of Queen)

The album has a pretty hysterical guitar solo with some sort of insane harmonizer effect used. Does anyone know of an interview where Billy talks about that solo?

God I hate these performances. Billy's sterile, underperformed vocals, zero energy in any of the performances. Just standing there looking glum, dropping consonants. Unrecognizable from the same band you'd see live in 1992 or 1996 or 1999.
