Bring Me To Life (Katherine Jenkins Classical Version) - Cover By Kendra Masonchuck
Музыка
So I know a lot of you have personally requested a classical cover next and... this is totally not it lol. I came across Katherine Jenkin's version of this while searching for something else and just decided to do it randomly. I wouldn't particularly say this is a classical song, but it's definitely more so than the original haha. I do have REAL classical, all out opera song, planned next, so don't be too disappointed. Also, for the people who were expecting a regular Evanescence cover like I usually do... sorry!!
No copyright infringement intended, this is not for profit, it is for showcase only. I claim to own nothing but my voice.

Powerful!!!!!!
Brilliantly done, Kendra! 5 stars! Ladies and gentlemen, this is what you get when you add the Classical Element to music: it automatically livens things up and it turns heads. :)
Gorgeous I have never heard such a cover, what I like the most is that even when turned classical, kept the dark gothic essence, and the elegance, but mysterious and soft, I wish you had more covers of this genere, I simply loved all about this cover, I think there are lot songs of this kind or groups that could be just amazing in classical covers like this one, as example Nightwish songs like:Turn loose the mermaids, Nemo, the crow the owl and the dove, or Whitin Temptation songs like: Memories, Stand my ground, Angel, ice queen. Take alook at these songs, specially to turn loose the mermaids and memories at least. I hope you decide to make some more covers like this one, would be amazing to hear this kind of songs in this classical magical style with these long magical vocals you did for this Bring me to life cover.
I'm familiar with the two versions of this song and you did both of them justice, easily. Really amazing, I think choosing Katherine Jenkin's version was the right choice for your voice, sounds beautiful. :)
This is so stunning beyond words. I went and listened to Katherine Jenkin's sing this, and personally, I like your cover better! Not only do I think you can sing better than her, but I love the little extra bits you added in that she didn't do in hers.
Amazing cover! I love this version of the song as well and your high notes were just spot on as always! Epic singing :)
Thanks Kendra, just found this and I think it's brilliant.
omgggg please do more symphonic metal covers. I'd die to hear you do a lacuna coil song!
Amazing!! This is Superb!
That was just incredible, i am insanely jealous of your voice and your control
Everything you do is wonderful!
Did not realize that my playlist needed this. *adds immediately*
Oh my God!!!! AMAZING VOICE!
MARRY ME!!! I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR VOICE!
Cool channel! I like finding smaller channels to watch!! Thanks for making videos!
So clear... Would you consider covering Evanescence's "Hello"? It would really show off your high notes.
Record of lodoss feel here! Props to whoever gets my reference
Beautiful Kendra! You have a great voice. You should consider singing Jolly Sailor Bold from Pirates Of The Caribbean On Stranger Tides. Along with vocals in the background.
WOW I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this. I'm blown away, who knew an evanescence song could translate so well into a classical piece? And you definitely did it justice. Well done!!

To be fair considering that Amy Lee studied classical piano and is a classically trained soprano it's not much of a shock that Evanescence's stuff sounds good as classical music, but you're definitely right about Kendra sounding absolutely amazing here :)

@buttons She studied classical piano, yes, but I'm almost certain she isn't a classically trained singer. Vocal coaching to keep the voice healthy and full blown classical training are two different things. Even leaving aside that issue, however, she's not a soprano in the true sense of the term (more like mezzo-soprano; and there is a difference between the two, especially when you're talking classical singing.)
where do i find this instrumental version or at karaoke?
IM DONE THIS IS OFFICIALLY THE MUSICAL HEAVEN
Hi Kendra another song you would sound awesome singing is "We Will Go Home" Sung By Caitlin Matthews and Lisa Gerrard from the film King Arthur.
You should make a cover of Emma Shapplin!!!!
