Great reaction. They have been talking about collaborating for a long time. They first met at a festival about 5 or 6 years ago (there is a photo of the girls looking really surprised and happy as Olly is showing them the BABYMETAL t-shirt he was wearing) and have been friends ever since, hanging out together whenever they met at festivals etc. I can't remember if it was at Glastonbury, but there was a photo of them playing video games together back stage. BMTH opened for BABYMETAL in Japan last year (or the year before?). I'm not surprised the BABYMETAL vocals fitted so well - apart from the swearing this isn't so different to some of BABYMETAL's own songs.

BMTH opened for BABYMETAL on Nov. 16 / 17 at Saitama Super Arena and Nov. 20 / 21 at Osaka Castle Hall. I found that T-shirt photo which made me smile. Thanks for that info.

@@Grington300 Recently I learned 2 things from BMTH in comparison to BABYMETAL. The fanbase of the UK band is much bigger than BABYMETAL. They are really big, so Sony employs BMTH for its TV commercial in Japan. On the contrary Mr. Oliver Sykes commented he was very surprised at the magnitude and stage production of BM shows in arena with tens of thousand audiences. If the two bands play together and collaborate each other at a big arena in UK after the pandemic, what can happen ?

I can't believe no one mention how well Su sang in English It's not surprise she could sing in English obviously they have a couple song in English, it's how well she sang that's surprising Her pronunciation is so much better here than in Elevator girl BabyMetal needs to ride the hype and get a new song out before the end of the year They could get a lot of new fans checking hem out for the first time after this

I remember in your _"BxMxC"_ reaction you talked about how other metal bands are often afraid to think outside the box and bring something new to the genre. BMTH are definitely not one of those bands and, like BABYMETAL, they've set themselves apart from the rest. Last year they opened for BABYMETAL as special guests for a few shows in Japan. Yeah you can see that BMTH are being true to themselves and not pretending to be something they are not. Real attracts real and so this is a very good collab. I'm sure other bands that are also true to themselves will be learning to collab with others too. Its really cool that they supported Babymetal on tour also too ^^

As I commented on your previous video about doing this one, "O-o-oh-h-h Yay!" (7:24). Great reaction! Another 👍 The song itself does push my tolerance limits of scream and gutteral vocals, f-bombs, and autotune on Su-metal's voice. But instead of 3 strikes, it is one heckuva banger, such driving energy. And Su's English is so good with the way it flows into the Japanese verse and back.

The anger BMTH brings to the song, softens SU with her voice. When I hear SU sing this way, as she does on Kingslayer, I will have the tendency to express that she relaxes more here on this song, than when she sings on Babymetal's own songs...

I'm a big BABYMETAL fan. Please don't be a fucking dumbass and imagine their fans all have the exact same reactions. I've seen a tiny minority that don't want to see any cuss words in anything BABYMETAL related, several that don't mind an occasional F-bomb but thought this song overdid it, and a fuck ton of people that fucking love this song. : )

Respectfully disagree. Catch Me if you Can had a great mix of growling and singing, and it worked well. Nobody would argue that that's not a real BM song. I hope BM hears how well this worked and have a few heavier songs in their next album. Hell even get Ollie to do it.

@@turbozed 100% agree. The screams were very important to impact the song. The beautiful melody of Su/Moa singing clearly gave it the contrast it needed for Oli's screams to burst with more energy. Absolutely mindblowing stuff. 10/10 song
