The last part when Oli starts screaming always gives me chills... for me this song was and still is related to two girls in my life. Been in love with them at different stages of my life, was basically doing their bidding, was trying to be close, supporting, entertaining, was ready to take a bullet for them if needed... and both played me like a fool. One knew about my feelings and slept with my best friend behind my back. Second played me for almost a year and then when I wanted to start dating simply friendzoned me. I was a freaking wreck both times. Now luckily I am past these things and I learned my lessons. But BMTH are still here supporting me with their music. Keep up the good work, Gibbs!

Glad you got thru it man. I can relate and i feel the same, when he starts screaming it gives me chills and fires me up. This song is used when i need to do a heavy set in the gym. The anger in his voice at the end...man i feel that shit.

@@gaunterodimm8764 both good gym albums! I have all kinda music depending on what exercise im doing. For heavy deadlifts or squats it's bmth and the snakes start to sing or house of wolves. Other favs are norma jean Memphis will be laid to waste or underoath writing on the walls are the main 4.

absolutely got to love Bring me the Horizon so far ahead of the game, even their newest album; give it a few years people will be jumping on same train. Back in the day they made a 2nd version of their album 'suicide season' and remixed with dubstep before dubstep became so mainstream. They even had skrillex on a song before he was super famous. Oli just understands music and will always be ahead of the curve.

HS8 8 how is ludens a radio pop song, it’s heavier than pretty much anything on amo, they had the breakdown the screams. Obviously it’s different from their previous music, like most, but it’s not a pop song. Amo, maybe a pop rock album but, I guess depends what song.

You know, I’ve listened to this songs numerous times. But this is the first time actually seeing the lyrics and towards the end when he says, “ was I your knight in shining, the apple of your eye, or just another step to comb”; I can relate to that a lot, I’m sure many people can. People may seem like you are their everything or their model to look up to, but they might actually take that and use it as a step for them to further themselves and leave you behind. They might not even realize it until you actually confront them about it. They might use you to further their life and make it easier for themselves and later leaving you behind thinking that y’all just fell off. That pains me because sometimes they don’t realize they’re using you, and it’s just apart of them that they never truly realize so they keep going like nothing’s wrong.
