OK, this is crazy. One by one, this woman is taking my favorite artists and their songs and doing the impossible - doing them justice. I don’t mean just doing a good cover. Even that is darn near impossible. But Morgan is going beyond that - she is making them proud. Just phenomenal.

I agree, there are so many covers of that song but without the spirit of the original in it. That one feel so right.

I started off my morning with a Morgan James video. My first thought was who the fuck is That? It's close to 10pm and I'm still listening. Omg! Such an incredible voice! She could sing the ABC's and I'd still listen!!!

Blistered Blues Yeah I agree.The first song I ever heard was “ Maps” I’ve been hooked ever since! She transitions between vocal registers with absolute flawlessness.The biggest thing.In a lot of her songs.I never see her take a breath! Check out Do right woman.Do right man with Marc Broussard.You’ll see what I mean!

As a player of 50+ years, I love to hear a clean unadulterated classic tune like this. Morgan and Doug make this look so easy, but believe me, these two have hammered out that tune over an over again until it was not much harder than breathing. That's what real pros do i.e. not what we mostly see today. Talent working their craft to perfection, just lovely.

Absolutely mystifying why anyone would vote down this passionate rendition of a great Sam Cooke song. Morgan James sings from her soul...a rarity in these times. Thank you!

Maybe Sam’s mama is still alive and got her friends to thumbs down, lol. I honestly can’t think of a single one of Morgan’s performances that wasn’t spot on!

Today is Sept.30th, 2019 and I found Morgan James on the you tubes...what a great day! just turned 69 a few months ago and was hoping to hear another great voice before I left these earthly bonds...I have not been disappointed!! What a powerful, soulful voice. Truly a God given voice...Thanks so much. Would love to see you come to the Raleigh, NC area....

big drum check out anjelina jordon shes not even 14 and is already the goat. start with "i put a spell on you" she was not quite 10.she started singing at 2. won norways got talent at 8. i'm 72 and u will love her. she has over 100 covers and all are better than originals.she does all her own arrangements and plays guitar,piano,flute and violin...old standards from the 50's , jazz ,soul, blues,pop,country...her version of "crazy" is even better than patsy... It may be an addiction. This is at least the 5th time in the past several months where I've started by watching just a single video of yours and in spite of repeatedly telling myself to go to bed, 4 hours later I'm still watching, still listening, still thinking there is no better way to spend the time I should be sleeping. It's almost 3 am and I work in the morning but I can't stop watching, I can't stop listening... It's only an opinion but there needs to be a second cover of this song, one with Ryan Shaw. There needs to be more duets with Hayley Reinhart and there needs to be more duets with many, many others. There needs to be more of you singing more soul, more blues, more Rhythm & Blues. There just needs to be more and more. I just saw something I didn't know existed...you covered the entire White Album...dammit, I will never get to sleep...
