Brindle Boxer dog demands tea
This is Bear our dark brindle boxer, quite a character and our second boxer, we wouldn't have any other dog. He has never asked for my tea but most weekend afternoons keeps the pressure on my partner until she gives in. He is not being teased in any way, it's a game to him and he enjoys the interaction until he gets his own way, which he always does. You see him looking across to me to intercede.

As a lifelong Boxer owner, this is typical Boxer behavior! Can't imagine NOT having a Boxer in my life! Precious.

i still cry thinking about our boxer Ella. She developed cancer and was in so much pain and such a sweet dog. Her best buddy was my boy Duke who was a Great Dane mix and he was incredible. Love dogs so much.

I am getting my next rescue boxer baby in two weeks. This is number 7 and I can't wait.
Every time I come home from work my boxer stares at me relentlessly. I can't resist that face and he knows, so he's constantly got me getting up and figuring out what he wants... and then he gets what he wants lol.

We rescued one 4 yrs ago and she's the light of our lives. She talks and makes the same weird noises. When we get home she's so happy to see us and that little stub is just a moving.

Years ago my sister had a Labrador called biscuit who was an absolute grouch until he'd had his morning cup of tea! This brought back lovely memories of him.

My pit would do that. He'd come up behind me on the couch, and put his head on the back of the couch next me, and stare straight ahead and pretend to ignore me, but I could see him looking out the corner of his eye.
I share my coffee every day with Walter, my American Bulldog. Loves it! And he likes an occasional sip of beer too.

back when I was young our boxer loved tea, biscuits (human and doggie), he was also fond of beer and once ate 2 meat pies that had just come out of a microwave.....they were our lunch!! I made the mistake of thinking he was asleep on his fav bean bag, went to get Dad about 100m away....upon our return the plates had not moved at all on the table but no trace of pies (or tomato sauce...) could be seen.....Dog was back in same spot on his bean bag, I looked over at him and one eye opened and his stump tail (it was early 80's we got him that way) was wiggling furiously as he laughed at us....

I had a boxer that loved coffee .. I’d go to Tim Hortons grab a coffee and give her some… once I got my coffee went to another store .. when I came out all these people were taking pictures of my car.. when I got close .. jazz was in the drivers seat with the Tim Hortons cup hanging out of her mouth .. she finished off my whole cup.

He has such a beautiful coat, very healthy and nice colour. Most boxers I see around seem to have patchy problem coats.

Me being a 44 year old boxer owner I have had two boxers in my life for 25years
My Chihuahua Lotus used to stick her whole head in our cups, she loved Horlicks and tea, he'd little head fit perfectly in the cup. She'd guzzle it, then we'd rub her back and burp her like a baby then she'd go to sleep. I really really miss her so much

Hello Vic, It's never easy on the soul to lose a cherished family member and I don't offer any advice about having to cope with the loss. We were in the same situation when my wife and I were at a low ebb, losing a father, mother and then our Boxer, Beau Beau, in the same year. We knew we could never replace Beau Beau with another Boxer, but we missed him terribly, his loyalty, having the outdoor life we had with him, meeting other dog owners and generally laughing. After a few months we decided to get another Boxer, a puppy we named Bear. He's not the same as Beau Beau, he has many of the characteristics typical of Boxers, but he is unique in other ways. We treasured every day with Beau Beau and do so with Bear and when that time comes and it surely will, we'll be there for him but until then we'll enjoy our life together. Tis better to have loved and lost than not loved at all. My regards,

Can someone explain to me why Boxers I see on these channels have no cropped ears or tails anymore. My boxers always had cropped ears and tails I’ll add they are the goofiest funniest dogs in the world but man are they loyal and protective

I can only speak for where I live, Boxer dogs have never normally had cropped ears and there is not a good reason to do. The Animal Welfare Act 2006 applies to England and Wales only and contained a general ban on the tail docking of dogs, This was due to overwhelming public concern on animal welfare. You wouldn't normally see a Boxer or a Doberman dog ear cropped or tail docked in the UK. It's completely unnecessary, cruel and a cosmetic thing for owners in some parts of the world IMO.
just in case you haven't done so, check which types of tea are safe for dogs

Bear is a gentle and playful 35 kilo dog. He has never bitten anyone, nor has he needed to bite another dog. He has a very good calm nature and loves all his family, especially the young ones.

Yes, caffeine is a problem, but this is half a cup of decaf per week if he's lucky, so we're on it with his health.
