This is the most underrated interview ever
O'Neill has told this story countless times and I've listened to alot of them times. From Howard Stern to his own leadership seminars, this was the most enjoyable and candid. Well done.

Rob is such a cool guy. Funny and doesn’t seem to sweat the small stuff. I like that.
Best interview ever! Two national Treasures! Thank you Rob and Tom for your Sacrifice and Service! You are the True Heroes! Your nation is very grateful! God Bless you all!
I just know his father is proud 🇺🇸
This dude rob does everything holy crap.. so much respect for this guy.
I have watched a ton of interviews with Rob but this is the best one I have seen of him. Every father should want to share the bond that Mr. O'Neil shares with his son.
WOW one of the greatest podcast I ever watched . Thank you.
The O’Neill’s are two incredible human beings. What a great father to have raised such an amazing person in Robert. To have to see all of that combat and see human beings at their worst and still have a positive outlook on humanity is inspiring. I have nothing to complain about I now realize. Life is beautiful. Thank you for such an awesome interview. First time listener you have made a fan here! Keep up the great work.
Bro when he said “who got him” and than one of the seals said “we all did” I almost cried thats one of the best things ive heard
RESPECT TO HIS DAD !!!!! THANK YOU BOTH FOR YOUR SERVICE... AND THAT YOU KNEW THIS COULD BE THE ONE YOU DIDN'T CONE HOME FROM
Thank you for your service.
Always a class act. Respect brother.
This is the best interview I have ever watched.... respect to those guys
It’s inspiring to listen to this. I haven’t been able to do anything I’m my life because of these dumb mental barriers set in my life by depression and bipolar disorder so when I see this it makes me want to get up and start doing something and I should honestly start calling friends especially do to the times right now. Thank you.

Why am I having the hardest time watching this?😂 I wish Rob could keep on one subject for longer then 2 seconds so we can hear everyone’s story. Could have been much more interesting! Mad respect though ❤️🤍💙
Just about to finish his book "The operator". Awesome dude
Gotta love those stories Thank you!
Robert is just an absolute badass. Great interview.
I love how often they use "we". It's amazing.
Brilliant interview!!! Keep it going

this is so legendary
ahh mann.. Very cool to see. This makes me think back to my Dad and the endless hours we spent on the baseball field, hockey rink.. and so on. It's not until later on in life you really realize how much your parents do for you. As a construction worker he'd work his ass off all day, come home, rush through dinner and take me to whatever sport I had that night. He never once complained, left me hanging or acted like he had somewhere better to be. Long story short.. I see an amazing father son relationship in these two.

It is no wonder he was such a good SEAL. So relaxed and fluid. Really cool dude.

Amazing Episode
This was so dope!!
Wow, this interview flew by. Rob is certainly a badass dude and a badass storyteller as well. Wish you woulda had him on for more than an hour, but there off to the next ridge line I guess! We as Americans and human beings in general owe it to guys like this, his father included, for being real men and real heroes. Hats off to the teams and military personnel everywhere! (The good guys that is 😉)
@7:15 I can totally appreciate the struggle and practice for pull-ups out of ALL the pt I did for the Army pull-ups were the hardest bc of my shoulders it was embarrassing.
24:05 is when he starts talking about bin Ladin
Best interveiw ive ever watched
Two Silver Stars & four Bronze w/V. No Purple Hearts, thankfully. Very good and luck never hurts.

CRAZY!
Great interview.. As others have said, I’ve also seen many of Rob’s other interviews. He definitely seems chirped up on something, whether it was a strong espresso, or a cocktail of oxy/adderall. Who cares, he’s a hero and passionate about his accomplishments. I would have liked to have heard more response from his dad, with out him interrupting. Happy to see this, wish it was longer. - my 2 cents
