@@cinystarr4657 correct. In ca they use to have drivers education in 10th grade. They took that out and should have kept it in. Even how to fill a job application. I’m glad when I went to school in the 80s we learned how to type, fix a car, how to cook even do our taxes.

Knowledge is not gotten in one place. To learn you have to be open to all knowledge. So don't blame the school. It only opens your curiosity and the remaining is yours. The world is a one big classroom.

About the garlic, once they have roots, you need to separate them in individual to plant, about 6” apart , not the whole bulk like that, each clove will grow to one bulk of garlic .😀

While transplanting the garlic into soil , you can separate each clove of the garlic pod and plant them . Every garlic clove will grow to give a full cluster of complete bulb.

Great idea...got it after the first holes...maybe edit and less loud music over sound so you can explain why you’re doing what you do?

Just wondering what the desired end result is? Onion and garlic greens and stalks? Probably not more onions and garlic as otherwise you would seperate the garlic bulbs?

NO. This is not for harvesting bulbs, it's for harvesting GREENS. Maybe get out of your self-involved American box and try learning about other cultures. MANY use garlic and onion greens in their cooking. They're tasty and nutritious.

Curiosity? Seriously? He has showed a total crap without explanation of certain things and you blame people that commented? This video showed a method of wasting precious garlic and onions to get neither new garlic nor onions, just bloody leaves and chives that not everybody eat and definitely do not think of when the discussion is about growing ONIONS and GARLIC. He did not show at all how to grow onions and garlic!

Olá interessante o vídeo, porém posso dizer que foi inexperiente no plantio do alho pois o mesmo deve ser plantado apenas um dente em cada cova e na colheita terás uma cabeça de alho, mas ta valendo um like pelo belíssimo video, só quem ama plantas sabe o quanto é magnifico ver as plantinhas crescendo!

No caso do alho, seria bom separar os dentes na hora do plantio, pois cada dente dará uma cabeça de alho. Ficando juntos os dentes, ñ dará uma boa produção.

Es una burla este video. Cualquiera le saca raiz a la cebolla, el ajo, la papa, batata, etc. ¿Pero cómo y cuándo produce el fruto? Andaaaaaaá, va a producir para comer en ese estuchecito? Necesita màs tierra profunda, andaaaaaaá, tomátelas. Es una risa el video. Una burla.

Eu já tinha visto plantar somente a tampinha da cebola, assim para mim é novidade. Fica meio uma troca de 6 seis por meia dúzia 🤷‍♀️ Desculpa se estou equivocada! O alho, teria que plantar apenas hum dente por vez, mas também já vi plantando só o tampinho.

I am wondering the same thing , I wanted to see the harvest .I was hoping they would lift each onion and garlic and we would see great multiplication under the soil.

Para los que dicen que solo se siembra con semillas les puedo comentar que cuando inició la pandemia mi niña se aburría mucho así que hicimos un pequeño huerto y del centro o corazón de la cebolla que ocupaba en la cocina fuimos sembrando el resultado fué que en cada plantación cosechamos de 3 a 4 cebollas medianas. No sacó flor se doblaron los tallos cuando estaban listos y con respecto a los ajos es mejor separar los dientes.

Si correcto; de cada cebolla se puede obtener tres nuevos bulbos, sin necesidad de este desperdicio de tierra, agua y tiempo. Las cebollas pueden producirse a partir de semillas o de propágulos (bulbos pequeños). Las hojas que cortan en el video sin ninguna necesidad ni sentido son ALIMENTO que puede emplearse para dar sabor a sopas y condimentar carnes.
