Taking my first cruise with my mom on Brilliance in September of 2025 and I can't wait!

I personally love the smaller ships! We are going on Brilliance in November leaving out of New Orleans! I love learning out of Nola because it takes so long to go down the Mississippi River! Beautiful views! However this is our first time getting a suite! We got a great price when we booked early!

I was on Brilliance in June 2023 for a cruise to Alaska. I really like the ship, and the staff was amazing! Grabbing a coffee in the Solarium first thing in the morning was a great way to start the day.

Excellent overview. Have spent numerous nights on the Radiance class of ships. Most favorite bar, the Schooner by far is the best. Love the windows and the evening entertainment is always very good. We love Vintages for a glass of wine before dinner.

We will be on Brilliance for our 30th anniversary in September - 14 days LA to NOLA. Never been on a ship this small or on a cruise for more than 7 days. Very new experience.

Out of all the ships I have been on - this was my favourite. Out of Sydney last year, the best items are the Crew, Brian the entertainment director and Chops Grill. Bernie in Sydney

Very timely. We sale on Radiance next month on a repositioning cruise, LA to Vancouver. Thanks for the tip on the filet at Giovanni’s. We made reservations for Giovanni’s for Italian but may try a steak instead.

On Brilliance week. Sydney Australia to Honolulu Hawaii. Starting to get excited. 😊

Going on Brilliance in September of 25, for a Canada / New England cruise. "Home" cruise for me as I live in Mass. And tis will be the third Radiance ship I've been on. With my first cruise being on Radiance up in Alaska, and second one was on Jewel when it was doing the Canada / New England cruises. My parents love the Radiance class, so much so that this will be the cruise they achieve Pinnacle Club status on. Which is why me and my wife are going.

We will be disembarking in Boston in Sept 2025 after a 15 day cruise returning Brilliance to the US from Southampton. See you in the terminal!

Did the Baltic on Brilliance in 2018 during the World Cup and it was so much fun watching football by the pool!

Our 1st ever cruise was last January out of Tampa on Brilliance and we loved it! Our next on is this summer in Alaska and we get Brilliance again❤

We are taking our first Alaska cruise on Brilliance in August. Bringing some close friends that are first time cruisers. I was worried about being disappointed with Brilliance after mostly going on big ships. But after seeing Matt's video, I am confident we will all have a blast!!! 🤩😊

We saw Brilliance in Hobart (Australia) while on Celebrity Edge - I wished we were on Brilliance! Great tour - we'll be booking our next cruise (after Quantum in Feb 2025) on Brilliance.

Also, Brilliance does have free to use locker rooms with their own sauna and steam room, so if you’re desperate for a sauna /steam but don’t wanna pay for the thermal suite, you don’t have to!

I’m going to be taking my first transatlantic cruise on April 5-20 on jewel of the seas. Can you tell me what to expect, especially this disembarking process.

Have you thought about doing a Vision of the Seas tour? It’s one a lot of new cruisers see because it’s out of Baltimore.

My friend and I will be doing an Alaskan cruise on brilliance in May. I was wondering how often they update their slot machine in the casino?

I went on brilliance of the seas in 2016 I was 7 years old first I was really scared but then I loved it food amazing loved the big screen at the pool, the cinema and the arcade. At the end of the cruise my parents got the bill me and my brother spend 100€ at the arcade we didn’t know because we just needed to get a card. We had the time of our lives. We got to visit lots of islands in the Mediterranean Sea

Does Brilliance have the Coke Freestyle Machine or do you have to get soda from the drink package from the bars/lounges/restaurants?

Lol - my Mom and I did our first RCL in 2004 - and neither one of us can remember what ship it was or care enough to actually take the effort. But the brilliance is giving the same solarium vibes but we definitely had Johnny Rockets. 😂

I just saw a brilliance of the seas in circular quay

I was looking at this ship, the only thing holding me back was the lack of a kids pool/play area! Thoughts? My kids are 2 and 5

If you are interested in White Pass Railroad Summit Excursion Do NOt choose Brilliance of the Sea . Before we booked this Cruise the White Pass had already sold out. However we didn't know that. You need to take ferry to Segway station. It waste of time and money. The ferry accommodation is very limited. I am so regret my choice.

So sorry. We made this same mistake. White Pass was sold out pretty much same day they posted excursions for booking. So disappointed. Not sure if taking the ferry on our own is an option, but definitely going to look into it

I would go to Viking Crown for a 180-degree plus view. Vintages & Schooner would also be good but just for the Starboard side views.

I booked brilliance for 2025 I got such a great deal on it!

Royal Caribbean Solariums are for adults only. However, kids may still use the Park Cafe.

That’s the point - you can enjoy swimming without getting sunburnt. Plus, you have the luxury of it being much less crowded and no games and things happening all around you…

@FloridaGiGi yes lol I know that! What I'm saying is most times you go in the pool you want to come out and catch some sun. It's nice don't get me wrong but we also like to be in the adult section and be in the sun like on most ships. We were just on the Oasis of seas and it was all open same on Navigator same on icon and alot more.

There are plenty of places to go for a sunburn, I mean tan. The Solarium is meant to be a more peaceful oasis.
