Well done! A lot of the Brigitte Bardot tutorials out there show an end result that's way too smooth, shiny, careful, and perfect, like wedding hair, which was not Brigitte's look at all! The reason her hair looked so cool was because it was a mess, very carefree and undone, like she'd slept in an updo or had been wearing the same style for days while traveling or on a bender, lol. It also looked big and gritty, like full of dry shampoo and product. But paired with her beautiful face, dancer's body, and cute clothes, it looked awesome. So good job on staying true to the actual vibe of her style. 👍

To all my super long haired people... I noticed some saying they didn't think this would work with their hair length. I have thigh length straight hair and I do my hair like this often. When I pull my hair into the ponytail I do a half pony bun or a knot bun and arrange the ends/curls on top of the bun with Bobby pins. Works great for me 😊

You can get fringe/bangs hair extensions! I'm currently saving up for some (like all good quality hair extensions they're kinda pricy) buuuuutttt I'm sure there's probably a way to DIY it if you want whispy ones (I'm personally more of a heavy straight across fringe kinda gal but don't want to commit)

I always love your BB videos, hairstyles and clothing! I wanted to do this hairstyle for work today, so my hair is quite a lot shorter than yours right now, it sort of sits on the tops of my shoulders so I couldn’t really get it to work with the bobby bins securing the hair on top of my head so what I did was - I followed all of your steps up until after the hair is tied in a ponytail, and then instead of using bobby pins to secure it, I sort of folded the ponytail underneath itself and used a small claw clip to secure it, the claw clip isn’t visible from the back, the bun covers it up and then I pulled a little at the bun and made it more fluffy and loose and it looks great! 😅 so thank you for the tips and inspiration Loepsie ♥️ please keep the BB videos coming our way! 🥰

I love these hairstyles but I am not able to replicate them. I have a ton of thick and straight hair, when I make a ponytail it's thicker than the circle between my thumb and index 👌if I curl my hair, they are not fluffy and airy, they keep the curl for 2 seconds and then drop. Plus no amount of bobby pins can sustain the weight of my ponitayl on my scalp, I seriously have no way of securing my hair on my head other than making a very sleek and tight pony: the opposite of what we have been seeing here. I would SO SO SO love to make this on me 😕

Same girl, same Update: I cut my hair in feathered layers a few days ago and oh my gosh, my hair finally has some shape and volume! Haven't tried any fancy hairdos yet, but I was still able to do some regular french braids even with the now shorter strands.

Hairscrews might help. Got mine at Rossmann in Germany. Or threading a hair tie through a pin, securing your hair and sticking the pin through your hair in the end...

I was really interested in Function of beauty until I saw the price.. Yikes! I absolutely can not afford almost 40 euro for shampoo only. Looks amazing though.

I tried it once (when there was like 50% discount)...didn't work for me at all. For me the texture was weird and made my hair feel so dry and sticky, and I had to use TONS of the conditioner in order for my hair to detangle. Some people love it though? Interesting to try once if you can get a discount

To me this hairstyle (like most of BBs styles) looks like summer. Unfortunately I would have to put at least a can of hairspray in to get it to actually last long enough to leave the house with it :P Love it on you!

Omg I used to wake up with my hair looking exactly like it does after back combing! 😆 I'd done my hair in a high ponytail and then curled it and hairsprayed it to death. Party all night and when I got home just took the ponytail down and went to bed, sometimes didn't even take it out 😆 quick finger brush and boom
