Lazy software developers are the best. They will work for hours figuring out how to not write 30 minutes of code. In the end they are more knowledgeable and the program always works better. Less code is almost always better.

I made a sign for our church missions fundraiser out of melamine to look like a thermometer. I made a red “band” loop that can be raised as the funds come in and one of the deacons made a comment in passing “Wouldn’t it be nice if we could have fireworks going off once we reach the goal?” So I used these lights all around the border of the board and used meteor shower or rain lights coming off the top of the board that actually looked like fireworks shooting out of the top of the board! Wish granted!!! The look on his face was AWESOME!!! You did a lovely job on these lights Noreen! Your work space is wonderful!!

You can bypass a broken part of the string by cutting them. On the DayBetter brand there is areas with 4 yellow stripes and then a cut line through them where you cut. Those 4 marks are the electrical connections. You can by cables that clamp down on those so you can cut out the bad section and reconnect the 2 cut sections. This is also useful if there is an area you don’t want lights. But you want light on both sides of that area.

Grab yourself a couple of sets of joiners then you can apply them in any direction and use the 'broken' section. These lights are designed to be cut to size and joined.

Looks great. My husband and I added white LED light strips to the inside of my china cabinet so its easier to see my gemstones & crystals. Then I got the idea to place a multi-color LED strip to the back part of the fireplace mantel so I could change the color for holidays, seasons, etc. I installed remote control LED puck lights to a bookcase, but since they're battery operated I dont turn them on very often & then the batteries die. I think I'm going to order another LED strip to I can showcase the gemstones & crystals I have in the bookcase also. Thanks for the tips!!

If you need to remove the lights, you might try a blow dryer or heat gun and warm the strip up before you pull them off.

I really like the look of those lights. I know my grandkids love them in their room, but their parents haven't loved the paint removal. I am going to run new electrical lines to my craft area. There aren't any lights or outlets in it presently. Perhaps these lights would help brighten my shelving area up. Thanks for showing them.

Such patience. If their sticky spots are difficult what about those little sticky dots you can use for miscellaneous things. I've seen on Temu with a couple different sizes. I forget what they call them and what their prices were. But maybe something like that would help. I love the look of these lights and the warm look is my favorite too. Thank you for sharing your bad spots as well as your triumphs! I don't blame you for not wanting to undo all your shelves. Aaaggg!!! You would have to take photos so you put it all back in the right place. ❤😊

Those are very pretty! I bought a different type, but I haven't put them up yet. Mine are battery operated. But they're individual lights that can be turned 360 degrees to light up whatever area you want. They're about 2.5" X 1.25" They stick on. I got them on Amazon.

I got 2 strands of the solar ones and strung them around my patio. A friend “broke” one so a strand quit working and she was able to reconnect everything with hot glue!🤷🏻‍♀️. No clue how she did it but they are still working a year later. Maybe the filament on yours is even finer than mine. I love sitting on my patio with them going every night!

My lights, which look like yours,, can be cut and have different attachments. I bought an accessory kit with corners and 3"wires to bend around shelves. If one snaps, just cut off the small section and add an extension from the kit. KZread won't take attachments or url links. If you need to see an example, let me know and I will post to your Facebook.

Hello Lovely.... I have the same kind of strip lights that I installed in my wardrobes.... makes finding clothes so easy... we also use a set I have set up around the bed ( around the edge of the underside to use like a night light (not so bright if you need them on in the middle of the night if they are set in the lowest setting). Also I see your step stand set up for your paints, I use the paints in the tubes and am finding it hard to display/store these kind ( as I like to store them tip down ) would you know of a way to make something for them?

I like the lights but I don’t like that they’re so fragile. I have some that I continually pressed in my grandsons room and I’ve never had that issue. I brought mines from Walmart, however, the sticky back would never stay stuck so I took them day and will use gorilla tape to put them into my great granddaughter’s and my dollhouse.
