I've watched this episode. Geoff apparently got a micro-splinter in his calf. Must've pricked him in a very sensitive spot on it as he wasn't walking for the rest of the challenge. It did get Bridgette to start opening up to him though.

When Geoff said he was sorry to his girlfriend I was really crying

Sadly, with the remaining male campers under his thumb, Duncan spearheaded Bridgette's elimination because he felt threatened. All of Bridgette's good qualities earned her a lot of friends and allies. Since Duncan couldn't compete with that kind of popularity, that snake decided to get Bridgette out of his way to stay afloat. Geoff too, also due to popularity. 9:05
