I don’t get why you’re trying to be click baiting with the struggled term in the title. Both actors have said they didn’t struggle because they were friends first and had a lot of freedom to do what they wanted for the steamy intimate scenes.

Well, Nicola has come a long way from her comment here. But she has said that, like Pen, her confidence grew as the show progressed. So maybe at that time it was awkward for her but as the shoot progressed she became more comfortable and when it ended she could reflect on her experience and actually agree that it was nice to have built a good working friendship with her costar for certain scenes.

What I love is Nicola saying he has to look across the ballroom at her and pine for her, but in the books she was in love with over for over 10 years before their HEA. I really hope they address their initial meeting and how she initially fell in love with him with a flashback like in the first season.

I'm honestly interested to see what she does next. I know her forte is comedy but I kinda want to see her pull off a more serious, dramatic role. I can totally see her as a boss lady who runs an organization. Or maybe she could do something like Jessica Pearson from suits - a strong woman but the show itself wasn't too dark. I'm drawing a blank on Luke. We'll have to just wait and see with him.

I’m honestly fine with either options. Afaik, the author said that the show should remain loyal to the books, but I was told that she also doesn’t have control over the creativity and the direction of each stories. Therefore, Eloise could still end up with Philip, and if they do, I hope they change some elements so that it can fit with her ideals since her character is apparently different in the novel serie. On the other hand, Theo is a good option as well because he’s the only one who shared Eloise’s opinions (Benedict too I think). I must say, it’s a shame that he wouldn’t stop bringing up her status whenever he got angry, but there’s still room for apologies, right? I’d love a scenario where he introduces his family to Eloise, finally opening her eyes to what people from the inferior class have to live through.

Nope disagree.... I'm here for all the love stories ... whilst Lady W has the GG aspect ..I don't really care about what she says....more interested in the characters....so they'd need to figure out a different way to do the narration....they could just remove it and let us watch the relationships play out and perhaps give commentary through the actual characters. Ultimately Lady W reports the ton's gossip ..except when it's personal of course.
