This is one of my favorite episodes of the series bcuz, Faurks love and affection towards his wife multiple 10x than before. My favorite part is when he goes and speaks his mom “he will die as her son, just as he will die as sureyya’s husband”. The time he was separated from his wife made him realize ( what if) we don’t get a divorce, and I am granted a second chance, I will demonstrate to her, my family of how much my love for my wife really is.. I almost lost her and I will not let that happen again. The scene of the bedroom when Sureyya finds Faruk , they stare into each others eyes. WOW, the chemistry jumps out of the screen of just much they love each other. Excellent acting Bravo .. makes me want to experience that kinda of love.

She should never have tried to infiltrate his life knowing .he was married to Sureyya . She should have made arrangements legally with LAWYERS instead of just returning because of her illness . She does everything in a stealthy secret way. A born opportunist destined to die alone. She caused so much pain. How can she expect help from Sureyya now ? Priceless look on Faruks face when Sureyya says she doesn't want divorce anymore.. Life..takes just a moment to realize what's worth and what's not. I grew up in a joint family in the 80s. Thankfully my family was never so 'traditional'. I grew up with liberal parents and grandmothers. But I did see the constant struggle of my parents and aunts and uncles under the same roof. It wasn't tradition but the constant battle of fitting in B, of judgments, trying to find that small piece of peace and harmony, making their own coccon. It's tough and more often heartbreaking. Bride of Istanbul isn't really about tradition though (watch carefully and you'll see it's about the family name, pride and ego). It's more about human relationships living under the same roof trying to find there own sliver of happiness. It's sad. Experience says it's better to stay separate and be happy than to stay together and be enemies. I'm not for nuclear families of today but this living together is unhealthy.

I enjoyed reading your testimony❣️ However, almost 90percent of this is about TURKISH TRADITION (with the BORAN FAMILY) with everything that pertained to the family Matriarch ESMA! that she instilled in her boys - until Faruk fell in love with freedom and liberty (he still hung on to the traditions but he became balanced with them because of this free- spirited hard working lady who was DIFFERENT!! TRADITIONS Need to sometime be modified and some even done away with!! To show you “the truth” putting her traditions and the importance of their BORAN name, she should have been HAPPY to see her son so happy, but because SHE didn’t choose her because of TRADITION, she couldn’t even rejoice for her loving, hardworking son!! THE FAMILY NAME AND THE HEAD (fathers) is so many times disastrous because it’s not based on lLOVE!! that’s why SHE was like she was! Her family was based on tradition and she couldn’t marry the man SHE LOVED❣️‼️‼️‼️

You would think seeing how her marriage turned out she would be more tolerant but no it's my way or the highway. Appreciate my mom in law so much especially after watching this. Every1 thought my husband was the in-law ❤

Yeap... this is something great to watch how everyone's face changed. Even though I feel bad for Begum but the way she did talk to Sureyya last time wasn't something I expected from her. Ooh...mother-in-law please stop acting like younger women who don't understand life. You o grown. If it wasn't a show I will say that to her. Faruk please take care of Sureyya. The auntie is funny. The whole house loves Sureyya expected Ipek, I don't count that much because she is nuts anyway. But it's good to see they love we missed between Sureyya and Faruk.
