Because he felt himself changing and it caused him anxiety, increased his paranoia and made him feel vulnerable, so he returned to the old mindset where it felt safe and "normal." Much like someone who leaves a toxic relationship only to return or find a replacement relationship that repeats the toxicity. Adem should have given himself time to adjust to the new normal by learning to live with the uncertainty. as the saying goes, "This too shall pass."

Wished I had an elder sibling like you then. I'm 35 and don't have a relationship with my older brother or sister. They were never there for me. Brother left his wife and small children for another and drugs. Sister abandoned her own kids as well. I will say my brother is finally getting his life straight and very proud of him but my sister still hasn't. Sadly not all first born are like that and deserve such things

So three weeks pass uneventfully, Murat visited and the family looks happy and relaxed….until Nurgul enters and tells Fikret to open the gate….so at this point I think we as an audience are bad luck for this family 😂😂😂😂 I know that’s not the case and the writers just want us to remain on the edge of our seat but this is too much stress for me 😂😂😂

Reyhan is dead and I am glad. She actually thought that Adem would replace her with Esma. Although even with the problems Adem has had with Esma she has been a better mother to him than Reyhan ever was. Even if she had him scrubbing toilets and treated him like Snow White she would have been a better mother to him. She definitely treats her servants better than Reyhan treated her son. She hated her son because of his father and she transferred all that hate to Adem. But she also needed him.

they put us through all those boring episodes with fikret and his blond therapist and the therapy sessions did not do any good at all. Adem is just as evil now as he was before he started the useless therapy. Even more evil, because now the brothers are trying to make him feel part of the family. this is a black eye for therapy, or she's not the right therapist for him. could never understand why they devoted so much boring tv time to those therapy sessions
