Agree.😊 the first dress needed lace across the top to maybe square it off and cover it up. The design on lace makes a big difference to. I personally think all lace is pretty and with pearls and bling😀 . She looked beautiful in the beautiful dress she picked. Lovely Bride.

@Joyce Massu Sandjong You're right, she does have nice curves, but an A-Line isn't fitted around the hips and butt. It moves away from the body below the waist, which is usually a natural waist. So regardless of where her curves are, that dress was fitted.

Why is this shocking that she would try on 35 dresses? These wedding dress shop keepers need to get over themselves. $1500 is an insane amount of money for a one time wear. They should expect this! Smart girl!

Well I know I'll be a nightmare wedding dress shopper because just to find a dress to wear for an event, I try on 10 or more. Cant imagine how people can be satisfied with only trying on 3 or 4. Surely there are better dresses out there. And I'm intent on making sure I've explored all my options and picked the best of the best within my budget and on my figure

@@LeaEspinoza12345 Absolutely! I felt very cheated that I was made to look at 3 dresses and then choose. I was too young then to know better. I'm not suggesting the customer waste the time off the bridal shop employees, I'm saying that a time limit should be set, a recurring of dresses tried on, and possibly multiple trips to determine what gives the bride the most Joy!

She looks stunning! And I’m glad that she knew she needed a break and actually took some time for herself, otherwise she’d have tried on something like 100 dresses!

yeah after awhile they all start to blur together and you can't appreciate the differences in each dress. taking a break and clearing your head is a good way to get a fresh look at your dress options and see which one jumps out at you.

The Lancashire dresses are so dreamy, I love every dress they pull.

The cameraman needs to fix the light exposure.....It's washing out all the details and we can't see it 😐

Wait, did David actually listen to the type of dress a bride wanted AND not go over budget?! Whoa!!! (I know the first dress wasn't A-line but I think they purposely put her in a dress too old/sexy for her to show her she didn't want to look as "grown up and glamorous" as she thought)

She is such a sweetheart and she did the right thing, taking a break and returned to get the most beautiful dress for her.

The first girl absolutely found the dress that was meant for her. She looked perfect.

When these people say that you must order a dress a year or 8 months before the wedding and I'm like wait, i can't be that sure about what's gonna happen next year , like I've no plans for tomorrow 🙃 how can I.....

@@ncertbookreader8251 well with wedding planning once you make a decision you kind of have to stop "exploring." most of the time when you're ordering a wedding dress it's custom to your measurements and that takes MINIMUM 3 months to come in. if you're lucky enough to be a sample size and not picky you can get away with buying off the rack and having it altered a little bit, but otherwise that's just how it is. and hopefully your tastes don't change that dramatically over the course of a year, i mean i liked cherry blossoms when i got engaged and i liked cherry blossoms 2 years later when i got married so...

I can't imagine tastes changing that much. I got my dress last year but sadly we aren't gonna be able to have our wedding for a couple of years. I love it just as much as I did when in first got it and I'm sure I'll love it when I get to wear it for our wedding

I have never planned to even have that long of an engagement and did have a friend tell me "you can plan a wedding in 6 months". By that time she was tired of making decisions and just wanted to be married. I would not be shopping at these fancy shops and might even hunt out consignment. I'll probably never get married though.

@@jemmaj2919 You clearly do not know much about the costs of bridal shops. Such appointments take time of two employees, that have the job to make the bride stunning. Those gowns aren't cheap to get and usually there is a fitting to make it perfect for the bride's body. The shop needs quite some space for the bride to dress-up and show it to her entourage. It's not half as easy or cheap as you think. But they quickly saw what would become her best of all and found a dress, that was magic on her. The bride and family found gratitude and joy. Why don't you join in.

Fun, that you have something to say about their attitude, whilst blind towards your own, which is tainted by a more negative outlook on life in a more quarrelsome style. Come on, the sun is out on the other side! Since you think it is their business to find her a dress, I'd expect big compliments of you for them, pulling that off so insanely well.

The first young lady has such a good spirit about her. I feel like she'd look good in anything. Personally the dress she chose was just ok to me...but she obviously loved it 😍.

I don't know about you but I'd be trying on hundreds of dresses. Doubt I'd find my dream dress so quickly

I thought the same thing, and I found my dream dress in 45 minutes. Depending on where you are in wedding planning, the right dress for the event might be easier to spot than you think.

I went to a small shop and tried everything that was my size (10ish dresses?) 🤣 narrowed it down to 3 and finally picked from those, lol. It really IS a taxing experience, but I was on a real time crunch and needed one off the rack and did not want to have to shop again. Ended up with a beautiful dress I loved ❤

I knew what I wanted (and mostly, what NOT!). I was getting married in church. I wanted a soft white, not shiny fabric; actual sleeves, nothing young-girlish (I would be 30 at the wedding), and I didn't want to look like a cream pie. Still traumatized from ruffle and puff sleeve overkill of the 80's. ;-) The shop I went to had the dresses they carried on their website. So I pre-shopped there, wrote down the numbers, tried on six or seven dresses at the actual appointment- done. I was actually shocked, as I knew others had shopped around for half a year... and I wouldn't have had the time. So I was glad of it. I still love it. :-)

She does look a lot younger than her age but even if she doesn't like it now, she will probably love it when she's in her 40s and 50s

I was the same..looked like I was in high school until I was 30, looked like I was a college grad until my late 30s. 60 now, and last week a man called me "young lady" in the grocery store...lol. Sunscreen, hair dye, and heredity!

I absolutely LOVE that Ronald Joyce dress the first bride chose. So pretty and she looked absolutely gorgeous in it.

She looks drop-dead gorgeous. It's sophisticated, flirty and she kind of looks like an elf all at the same time. And I totally dig their theme.

sometimes I just cannot believe that David helped his wife designing princess Diana’s dress ( he was there the enitire ERA ) Where in this show he always manages to mess up with his clients requirements And here he’s starting with a completely different dress from brides requirements 1:40 how is that A-line David ?

I have a feeling she wants to look older because people have always treated her younger than she really is. It's great to look younger when you're in mid 30s (maybe) and above, but in early 20s, you don't want to look like you're a teenager; especially at your wedding. I'm 4'10 & 23 and have been treated younger my entire life. A couple months before quarantine someone at my temple asked what grade I'm in, during my senior year of high school someone thought I was a freshman, and during my freshmen year someone asked me if I was in the right school. Those are just three out of hundreds of examples. If she had similar experiences, that's probably why she feels it's necessary.

@@melissashilkoff As someone in their mid 30's... Kinda. It's nice to look youthful, but there's an even bigger struggle to be taken seriously, especially in a professional setting. On top of that, I've had about two decades of people mistaking me for younger, and wanting to gush about my youthful face. I get it, I have a baby face! Move on already! I'd imagine it's hard when you're a bride, and just want to be treated like a mature woman for one day.

She doesn’t really even have a baby face. It’s because she’s so sweet that people treat her younger. I get that all the time, I’ve been told I’m very sweet but at the same time, people think you’re a child then and it’s so obnoxious. Like why do people think they have to stop being bubbly and nice as they get older.

All that needs to be said about David is this “I have tried over 35 dresses and been to 7 shops and somehow David nailed it in two”. Love you David keep up the good work!!❤️❤️

I tried on way more than 35 before I bought my first dress. Decided I hated it and tried on another ten or so before I fell in love with my actual dress. It can be overwhelming but the right dress exists.

Why do they make such a big deal of her having tried on 35 dresses

i mean if you're spending $1k+ on a dress, you should see quite a few. picking one out of a handful seems like the perfect way to get hit with buyers remorse.

The first bride is so sweet and that gown is perfect for her. I’m surprised that they’re celebrating that she’s under her £1500 budget. She shaved under it by £8 but the veil is probably £200 and I’m guessing there could be taxes and/or alteration costs too. She will do well to stay under £2000 when all is said and done. Still, that gown is perfect and worth it for her.

I can just imagine flowers in her hair with this 2nd dress. It suits her body, and personality sooooooooo weeeelll. She looks like a fairy! 😍😍
