Actually, the bride looks as old as the mother, and they both look to be in their mid-40s.

Agreed! I was expecting it to be huge on her from the way they were talking. The only alterations might be the hem (depending on the shoes she wants to wear) and the straps (which is a VERY easy alteration that some of us can do at home).

It's like someone made a version of the other dress, changing it into everything she wanted (no boobage, etc) and made it amazingly chic and affordable!

The first bride's not going to get that dream dress unless she's going to pay $13,000 which is insane! That $9,800 dress looked gorgeous on her! She flew to New York for nothing!

Exactly. Wedding dresses are marked up literally like 1000% which is ridiculous. I'll never be able to afford that but if I could, best believe that bitch better have real diamonds and gold on it. Because while I understand lace is expensive, not 13k + expensive!!!!!!

One of the best budget dresses I've seen on this show and the veil was incredible with it. Truly stunning on the bride! Crazy you can get a dream dress that cheap. It just worked for her.

You have to keep an open mind when picking a dress. These consultants see hundreds of brides and their different body types so they know what will look good on a bride after they try on the first dress. Trust the process because most of the time what you’re envisioning and what you initially wanted isn’t always what you leave with. Kleinfeld has some of the sweetest, caring, and patient consultants. ♥️ I will be getting my dress from there if ever I decide to get married 😊

If you're going to one of those hectic sales, you might want to go to someplace and just try on dresses to get an idea of the shape that works best on your body so you don't take up too much time. They said the sale is only four hours long(!).

my daughter went to VOWs in Massachusetts after seeing the TV show about the place, and the dresses the consultant pulled for her were all terrible.Just awful. She told the consultant what she had in mind and nothing was even close. She had her try on 4 lousy dresses and then the appointment was over. We werent allowed to look through the racks. The whole experience sucked.

That first bride isn't going to be happy until she tries on that $13,000 Pnina gown. Thing is, so many brides see a photo of a gown they think they love then when they actually try it on many times it's disappointing because it doesn't look like the bride thought it would. That happened to my daughter. She had a dress she picked out from a bridal magazine. We found a shop that carried the gown. She was so excited to try it on but when she did she didn't' like it. She said it felt like a prom dress instead of a wedding gown. She ended up buying a $1,000 gown which was on sale for $100 because it was the previous year's collection. Big deal! She looked beautiful in it.

Yup! For my sisters wedding I really wanted this one dress as MOH but when I tried it on, hell no! I had no boobs to hold it up and I looked like a square 😆

Woww she got a $4,000 dress for $750. And it looks great on her!

I do love the one that was chosen for the beach wedding because the layers of lace look like the little lacy waves of surf you get just before the sea starts to flow back down the sand.

What a beautiful dress, especially on Thalia. What a bargain, she did great today. On the other hand Thia had that specific dress in mind, and it's hard to settle for something else. I think Pnina Tornai dresses are way over priced. The dress Thia wanted was over $13,000, that's insane.

I would have scouted more Pnina dresses instead of chasing the paticular style through other designers. Apparently her dresses feel wonderful on and that's the mark of excellence. ( I don't like the vulgar designs but she seems to be over it now.)

The dress Talia chose was magically gorgeous and looked so great on her. I hope her beach wedding went great.

Seriously, there are some absolutely gorgeous dresses.

The second bride was lucky to have the consultant plus Randy helping her and with just a $2K budget. Of course, having an open mind helped a lot. Great dress and a great bargain.

That second girls dress is a big bargain right there! She looked so beautiful in that dress.

I understand knowing “the dress.” I knew exactly what I wanted and hunted it down all the way across the state and it was perfect. I had tried on so many and nothing was right, and when I saw it online I just knew. To this day I have never seen a more beautiful dress and I have been married over 11 years.

Some brides are just naive to think that a massive sale will include a newly released dress from a “famous” designer. Sales are only for dresses that don’t sell well or in sub-par condition, just common sense. Clearly she hasn’t done her research enough before heading there. Wasting everyone’s time really & irritates me to watch her reaction!

Sorry, but its kinda dumb to be fixated on a single, relatively new dress when going shopping at a sale. Pretty sure there were others in similar silhouette that could have worked on her if she wasnt so picky.

OMG that Isaac Mizrahi dress is so perfect for her!! And it's even marked down even more to $750!!! Is this really Kleinfeld? Hahahaha

The layered lace looks like sea foam. 🌊 fitting for the beach.

To wait in line for a long time and go home empty handed is a shame. Not only do they waste the time of the sales expert they took a spot someone who really had an open mind about a dress today.

The staff here are so helpful and will do what it takes to find “the dress” for the brides to be xxx

The first bride was like a size 0 and could have worn any gown! She looked great in most of the gowns. Too bad she couldn’t get get her dream gown out of her mind and see she looked fabulous in others. Good for Talia getting a beautiful bargain gown for her special day!

I don’t like how they told her for something with a full sleeve they’re running out of options. Sleeves can be added on a lot of gowns, anyway.

They don’t carry many dresses with a full sleeve. The bride was set in that Pnina dress anyway.

That second bride needed a dress that covered a whole lot more than the first dress gave her! The first bride could have worn any old dress and looked decent in it, and if I was stupid enough to get married again, I'd have gone with the short sleeve one.

Yes Usually they try to avoid letting a bride try on a dress that is way over their budget, because if they like it, they will be crushed because they can't buy it, and they'll have a harder time accepting another dress

If you have a medium to high budget, then yes that would be the best option. If you have a low budget though, samples sales are going to be your best option.

My wedding dress l brought for $25.00 at Wins thrift store after 50% off. The dress was discontinued in 2013 it's worth 1,800.00 with the tags still attached to it. It has a tiny rip which no one would every noticed. Never worn. It's perfect one. It's size 26 plus. One of the ladies here said her prom dress was between 6 and 8 and her daughter's wedding dress was size 14 petite.. Then my dress plus 26 is probably 18 plus size. My wedding dress is made by Mori Lee Julietta Bridal Dress 2013.

I don’t like the way the manager brought her another bride while she wasn’t even done with the first. As a manager, I don’t like for my team to feel overwhelmed. She had to find help on her own, why couldn’t the manager find another consultant or have the second bride wait a few. 🤷🏽‍♀️
