I truly commend all couples who can still be good friends after divorcing. That is hard for many couples to do.

This is a beautiful episode, when I saw the title"Bride brings ex husband and new wife Wedding Dress Shopping" I had to watch it, my late husband and I had been separated since 2006 but he was always present in our lives, he was at all of my family celebrations and events involving both his Son's, sometimes with his girlfriend whom I would sit and talk and laugh with. He passed away suddenly just over a week ago and this episode spoke to me and I found myself relating to this bride and her relationship with her ex husband. My heart needed this episode :(

​@mgichndz Seriously? Isn't it like an unwritten rule that the fiance should never see his future wife in a wedding dress before the wedding? Some do go, but very rarely. If she finds the one, she doesn't want the superstition that the marriage won't last if he sees her in it before they get married.

This is totally cool, some people are just better friends!! She spent a lot of her life with him, it would be hard to just cut someone out of your life and act like they don’t exist after sharing so much with someone. Family. Secrets. I love this.

I am actually good friends with my husband’s ex-wife. They were married for 8 years… he and I have been married for 16 years. When her father passed away, I encouraged him to attend the funeral to be with her and her family. Just because they weren’t together anymore doesn’t mean that her father wasn’t still a father figure to my husband. They didn’t work out as a couple, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t be civil or even be friends afterwards. She is actually a very nice person and I quite like her a lot.

Those who would criticize her for remaining friends with her ex and his new wife are people who are used to ending relationships on a bad note. THIS is healthy. When my parents divorced, we all still had family holidays and parties with ZERO animosity.

100% I wish everyone could have this. Children would be a lot healthier with the divorce of their parents if it was this way

She was on Say Yes To The Dress before when she helped her ex’s new wife choose her wedding dress.

The ex-husband definitely has a type, his current wife and ex-wife look very much alike. The current wife must be a very understanding woman.

Kenny seems like the sweetest man ever. Perfect for her. I am so glad she was able to stay good friends with her ex-husband, some people truly are better off as friends

What a pretty woman! And that was just the pop she needed. Her fiancé sounds as crazy as her...THEY are a couple! It is wonderful when divorced couples realize the mistake they made marrying for lust and not love. Now both couple will be happy...together!

She said they were very young. Many people's tastes change/mature as they hit their late 20's. Perhaps they just outgrew each other.

That is divorce goals! The dress is very nice and suits her, but I don't think the halter is the most flattering option. Maybe a regular strap would have been better. The flowers will most likely look very nice, when done properly instead just pinning them to see the look.

This was a lovely set of people and very nice to watch. I have known a few people who stayed friends. Basically, they just grew apart as time passed; it was no one’s fault. Obviously, an abusive former partner should be be avoided and the partnership followed by therapy!

*Can you imagine a veil the color of the flowers, or the flowers but smaller, also on veil? Haven't seen the end yet, but that image popped into my mind and had to say it before seeing the ending.*

The flowers look weird. Maybe the ones at the waist. Maybe a belt of them on the waist, but as long as she is happy…

The placement of the roses was weird. They would look better if a bit smaller, and trailing down the skirt somehow, rather than two big blobs.

the top flower bunch kind of reminded me of a corsage which isn't my style, but she makes it beautiful. I think they stayed away from putting the roses on the train so it wouldn't look like Ms. monthly visited on her wedding day. I do think it would be cool if she has a short/midlength veil and they put a scattering of roses cascading down that (avoiding putting any directly on top or on the bottom part).

My husband and his ex are not friends and hated each other for several years before and after their divorce. I didn't break them up, she had left him two years before he met me. They kept arguing about the terms of divorce, but when he met me, he ended up giving her everything she wanted, because he loved me. Long story short, we have been married thirty-five years and today is the anniversary of our first date. His ex is quite ill and calls regularly just to talk, as most of her friends have died and the kids don't see her often. I told my husband she may need to move in with us as her health is quite bad. He thought I was joking, but I am not. The only way it will work is if she does not talk politics and isn't hateful. I think it would work, but I am not positive. But family does for family, so we are willing to try.

I love when couples can be friends after divorce, especially if there are kids involved. That's what I wanted...but my first husband's new wife won't let him talk to me, and my 2nd ex husband treats me like some sort of disease.

Why didn,t she just opt for a coloured or floral print dress?? The placement of the roses looked strange and the halter awful. Just my opinion! The bride made her choice and that,s what we,re here for. Just think that Gok has been off his game recently...used to love his picks, now not so much.

The roses would have looked gorgeous sporadically placed on the skirt of the dress. And then her carrying a beautiful hanging rose bouquet in the same color. The first halter was nice with all the crystals. Although the top looked too tight in itself. It looked like they changed it up at the end and just used plain material for the halter.

I don't think Gok has particularly nice dresses. I think the roses could have been placed better, perhaps a few all over the skirt instead.

I like the dress but the halter neck strap thingy makes her look like she's hunching her shoulders - I think an off-the-shoulder might have suited her more.
