I have a brick wall on my house that just needs a freshing up. Due to the years of age and scrapes. The brick is a very light tan. Do you have a color that can closely match the rest of the house? Thanks

I have light grey heavily textured brick. It actually looks like pieces of quartz in it.. I would like to add some 2 darker shades if grey to stagger the colors. I am wonder the technic and what applicator to use to apply the stain? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks

We do have the best process for changing the color of brick or mortar that would never hurt or compromise the brick but we do need absorption to be successful. Please do a simple water test with a glass or bottle of water and pour on the wall and take a couple of pictures of a water test and send it to info@masonrycosmetics.com Attn: Brickman and let's see if your brick are a good candidate for our process and if yes we can help you with the application. Thanks for the comment.

Amazing - I just wrote you about a special project - and then saw this - and just a question - GREAT STUFF. Does this prevent the white residue that seems to come through due to brick taking on salt. In my case a special project of using brick chips as a thick base for Ruby Red - and I do not want the chips to turn white - or should I say - turn white very very slowly - would you products help slow this process - I need the chips to be all red - and simply remain that color under the base of ruby red as I said in my communication a few minutes ago - - Thanks you guys are great!

Bill so sorry I missed your question. We have a lot of information on efflorescence that you are describing. Our product allows the brick to naturally breathe so efflorescence if present will still show on the surface of the brick, our process will not seal or slow that process from happening. The solution is stopping the added moisture in the wall. Please feel free to email me brickmen@gmail.com at anytime if your situation is still there or if anything else comes up. Sorry again, Don

Can this be used on natural stone? I have stone accent on my house that is orange toned and I would like to get some grey tone to it -- not covering the orange/brown but just toning it down.

Depending upon the particular texture involved, the brush technique may have to be changed. When you take advantage of our free First Job Color Service, you send us pictures so we can create a recipe or recipes for you. At that time we can advise you about any special ways to stain your deeply-textured brick. In the alternative, you can send pictures before you purchase so you get your special technique up-front.

Materials for our custom Stain Kits costs are between $.95 to $1.50 per sqft depending on the colors you're trying to achieve. If you email us some more information - pictures of the brick now and what you want the end result to look like - we'll be able to put together a custom recipe for you, along with a quote on how much the kit will cost. From there, you'll be able to order your custom stain kit. Our email is: info@masonrycosmetics.com. Thank you for asking and hope to hear from you soon!
