After so much inventory increases of late, time had finally come to expand the storage solutions within the LEGO Bricklink and Brick Owl store. In a month of best ever sales there's always plenty to get done and this week was no different with part-outs and parts orders all needing adding to the inventory.

Not sure how I found your channel but been a few weeks of watching these update videos and it’s been super enjoyable! Totally weird seeing behind the curtain of a bricklink store. Things like someone buying out an entire lot almost being annoying to you (just due to lack of diversity for future customers) whereas I as a buyer always felt like I was doing a favor by buying out a lot making it easier to pick. Just a totally new perspective and it makes me want to run my own store (not an option, the idea of selling any Lego is out of the question I want it around for a rainy day🤣). Cheers!!

I think I'm getting over that separation anxiety now when a parts sells out! It's that shift from collecting LEGO to selling like you mention - wanting it around 😆

Got a lot on your plate mate not enough hours in the day will be a never ending battle by the looks of it. Not surprised about the driver sitting in his van and claiming that. Aus post getting rid of the we missed you cards has made it even easier for drivers to be lazy and make excuses how they thought that was a good idea I’ll never know. Reason why I always get stuff delivered straight to the post office as parcel collect or parcel locker as I don’t trust their reliability. Look after your back mate only get one for life 👍🏻😎🇦🇺 Cheers

Well, on the part of the world here in Holland it is exactly the same, no cards anymore so they have no incentive to go to the door and the drivers like to sit. Not all though to be fair. There are also a bunch who like their work, lol

Yeah, the everyday Postie is a legend as are the owners of the Post Shop here so they take care of everything getting to me or card things to my PO Box anyway - but yes, the driver isn't doing his part in getting it all here. The back is much improved... thanks!!
Start a Bricklink store - it will be easy........Always good to show that there is a lot of work! But its great fun all the same :D

Really gives a good overall understanding of what running a Bricklink store can be confronted with. It looks like hard work, but worth the effort.

Great fun most of the time, yes there are a few headaches here and there but worth it - even amongst my moans!
One thing that amazes me is the cost of postage. For me to ship up to 8oz to Australia is $12.50 from the US

I agree - the volumetric system they use makes things costly.
I actually placed that 'speed champions' esque order, was actually for a scale model of a PBY Catalina! You got the vehicle part right though! Great store and have ordered more since then!

Ahhh!!! Your orders have always been pretty interesting to be fair! At least I was 'close' - although hardly!!! Looks a great model. It's fun to find out what parts are actually for - completes the story for me! Thanks for the support and the praise!

Been following for a while but admittedly I have you on in the background whilst working. Do you not have a bigger room in your flat/house to expand the store?. Really enjoy your vids and your commentary is very easy to listen too.

Yes the bigger room is being planned up and I expect to move or at least start moving in May.
