Whenever I get a bricklink order I send my best friend videos of me going over the parts, I love how you’ve made that a series. I just got out of a 20 year “Dark Age” so I’m trying to order a bunch of boring parts (basic bricks and plates) in all the colors I never got to experience as a child.

Oh, me too! That theme was such a big part of my LEGO journey. It'll take awhile to put together all 5 videos I have planned, but it's gonna be epic!
I actually found that green Galidor set (euripides) Sealed, but with it's package incredibly sun-bleached at a flea market last year, it was nutty. Certainly only a minority of Lego fans would even realize that it's Lego, so it was neat to find intact. Alot of instances where they're found open and used the accessories are missing simply because they just look so unrecognizable compared to other parts.

At 9:00, that 2x2 tile has the underlined mold number 56, I believe, though I’m only seeing it backwards and its hard to pause with it focused. The earliest sets I have 2x2 tiles from are the 90s and those have a reinforcing plus shape and have the mold number in the 30s the newer sets have numbers as high as the 60s and also have the notch above the Lego copyright. I haven’t found a reliable source that talks about the mold numbers under the bricks, but my understanding is that the mold is updated when it wears out and the new molds are tested with trans clear plastic to see if stress marks develop and if they don’t then the mold is used. This is likely a prototype brick for mold 56 and not from the camper.
I'm really looking forward to the Knight's Kingdom retrospective. The tower with the cage is one of the earliest sets I had. I also had that Exo-Force set you got the instructions for. Ahhhhh, thanks for the memories!

lol! Talk about perfect timing!
That trans clear 2x2 tile is absolutely fascinating. I had that camper set when I was a kid, I need to check if I have that part. Looks like there weren't a lot of 2x2 tiles mold variation, the most common one is with a groove and should be the one found in the camper set. It's hard to tell from your footage, but I think it is indeed a regular 2x2 tile with groove. What's really suspicious about it though is how clear it is, as far as I can remember the trans clear parts back in the days were a bit cloudy, but maybe I'm wrong. Still, it's quite a fascinating find!

4:20 not sure if you're aware, but a weird thing in Knights Kingdom is that there was printed armor and printed torso versions of the same knight, of which you have the printed torso version that doesn't have armor. I know this because I felt cheated as a kid when I got one of the sets and for some reason 1 of the 2 knights came without armor; so one had printed armor + blank torso, and the other had no armor + printed torso. Had to get a different set to 'complete' my collection because of that..

Judging by the 4 gray 2x2s with grooves in 8:04 , it looks like you’ll be using Lego’s design for the basalt pillars in your module. I feel like Old Dark Gray 2x2s would be a better alternative for 2 reasons: 1. Old Dark Gray better matches the color of the basalt in the game, and 2. The straight, uniform grooves going down the Dark Bluish Gray bricks don’t really match the organic texture the basalt blocks have in the game. P. S. I always count down the days until your Minecraft module videos come out!

I want to say that Galidor had some potential. If it were more incorporated into the Lego system, it probably would have been more by fans and kids at the time. They’re basically like Masters of the Universe action figures, it seems they’re in a similar scale. I think the line failed partly because the characters and the mythos itself aren’t very appealing. Bionicle, while completely different from the traditional Lego system, was able to wear its uniqueness on its sleeve as a feature.

Galidor does seem cursed enough to be a black market exclusive
I vote we call the in-between plate/bricks "blate". otherwise we'd have to call them pricks and that's just rude...
Great video I got a quick Q and A what is the most expensive Lego piece?

That's a very fun question, ha! Obviously there are expensive minifigure parts, but I'll exclude those. I don't know how to determine the most expensive part too easily, but I'll link a few that come to mind: 1) www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30562&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={%22color%22:11,%22iconly%22:0} 2) www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30497&idColor=12#T=S&C=12&O={%22color%22:12,%22iconly%22:0} 3) www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6024px4&name=Baseplate,%20Raised%2032%20x%2032%20Canyon%20with%20Brown%20Dirt%20and%20Gray%20Rocks%20Pattern&category=%5BBaseplate,%20Raised%5D#T=S&C=6&O={%22color%22:6,%22iconly%22:0}
