    Piggy backing is what ive known it to be called when you guys put those last 2 courses on under the fascia. Great video !

    I’ve never seen so many profiles on a job, in the U.K. we build corners and let the apprentices or improvers run the line. Tbf I like profiles but we just don’t use them, well the eastern Europeans do but they can’t build corners. I’m not digging because I’ve seen how good your boys brickwork is. Keep up the great work lads very tidy brickwork.

    I've never seen a bricklayer build corners quicker than a profile, and the walls are plumb. Stand a profile in 5 minutes and there is your 24 courses already built.

    ​@@thequionI agree because in many places in UK they build the corners but takes more time and never come so tidy as the profiles method.

    I’ve only nearly done 12 months of my apprenticeship, the older fella started with gave me a tyzac, a lot blokes have tried getting me to go to a marshals town, but I prefer the squarer edges

    in america when we put the last brick in we throw joints on the brick already laid and on the brick we are going to lay so the joint is water tight full joint

    Do you put ties in to hold them together here in the UK we have to put ties every 5 courses and every 3 on window or door reveals on timber framed houses

    @bricksbyty thought so just never seen anyone in the videos putting them in ,is there alot of work for bricklayers in Australia my family are thinking of giving it a try it looks mostly like there timber frames where you are just a little differently set out
