Back in 1976 we built a factory 40 per thousand all hand ball made 200 pounds a week we had a barrow hoist for the lifts on the gables

Keep up the good work, even me fixing my own house look for machines to do the heavy lifting. I'm not going to carry up xtons of concrete bricks to redo the roof. Cheap diy option is a small wire/chain lift a 🪣 and some proper mounting for it.😂 A Bumperhoist does look appealing.

Changy ive used and will continue to use a ginny wheel its brilliant for gobbo and have even used with the appropriate heavy duty bucket pulled up bricks and blocks on extensions the quantitys usuallly nowhere near as on site

gone 8s last vid he was working 6 in the evening , likeable bloke but he thinks his methods a re inventing brickwork ,why put up profiles and rack back massive corners

Working on timber frame myself at the moment here in the west of ireland and of course its all we 4inch concrete blocks we wrapping them in. And wet blocks too it's very rarely we get to lift a brick or a dry block at that. But fuck me you start with a 50mm cavity at the bottom and build your work plumb but when you get to the 2nd story god knows what way it could be... cavity could be way big or way small. Amd don't even mention the fuckin windows there never fuckinn rite jesus...maybe yer frames are perfect but the ones I'm on ain't the best to say the least. Maybe talk about that in the next video point out the problems we have to deal with and make rite..

I’ve always thought about drawing the 450 gauge with a pencil and level on the Panel then banging all the ties in if I was to be waiting for some reason

profiles dont work on old buildings that arent square and your brickwork has to be built out of plumb to match existing and look right.

Funnily enough two of the men you mention have had ‘lifestyle’ problems. After 8 seems to have got a grip, good luck to him. The other man you mentioned (I think) has gone the total abstinence route & put a video up about it, very personal. Good luck to him also. As regards machines, sometimes storage is a problem. Even neighbours can be light fingered.

Changy just watched a video of yours about people claiming to be bespoke brickies totally agree but to say don't listen to brickies who are in there 60s like myself cause we say i was taught by salt of earth brickies is wrong i was taught by them and me and other brickies on my site who i might add are in in there 60s all use profiles an are all about the easy way just saying from a brickie on site for 45 years like yu videos though change 😂 Chester

Personally I think you’re alright fair but firm with your lads and they haven’t done one on you have they 👍

You can't use site prices to price up private work end of story cause your working for someone on site on price and their making money on top of what your making. And the size of the bed joint on that block work sort it out
