I have no words to express how happy I am that this is back. Anytime I desperately needed motivation, anytime I felt too stressed to think straight, anytime I felt at rock bottom, I came to this song, this version. This gives me an energy that nothing else can, for some reason I can't explain. Thanks for sharing your voice and time. ALSO, I always wanted to say, fantastic job on the lyrics translation. Absolutely wonderful!

If the Lord wills, one day I'll come back here and remember all my lonely nights that passed while listening to this song and then I'll realize how things don't last forever neither the happy ones nor the sad ones and I'll scream in silence about how I finally made it through life. ✌

It's a form of nihilism where you invent your own values and uphold them at all cost, and, in this particular case, this ethic doesn't include maximizing the well being of others. If you want a more every-day version of that, you could look at J. Kimblee from Full Metal Alchemist.

the anime "tokyo ghoul" did not make me cry, i melted into the music, but after hearing this after the anime was done, i cried. This was amazing!

Heather Jarek It's insanely different. S1 follows the manga okay; it's a bit lesser because studio piroet sucks with incorperating details. But season 2 might as well be a different anime with some of the same events happening for some stupid reason. I wish studio bones had gotten ahold of Tokyo Ghoul. It's so much worse than the vision Ishida made.
