Tatum is obviously considered Boston's best player by the Mavericks (and every other team) if you, you know, actually watch the games. The game plan is always to make him pass. Basketball is a team sport. Despite the best efforts of these media hacks and the ignorant masses to turn it into a drama about individuals, it is a team sport, where success and failure are experienced as a team. If Boston wins, they will have done so because of their efforts to play the game together. If Dallas loses, Mr. Doncic needs to look in the mirror and ask himself how he can better support his team, just as their front office must look at improving the rest of the roster. Luka's defending is truly pathetic right now.

Props to the Mavs, they really did beat all expectations and imo over achieved this post season - did not expect them to get this far. #1 seeded OKC, defending champs Nuggets, and even the #1 defensive wolves all failed to live up to expectations. Especially the Nuggets who wet the bed, HUGE L for them. Mavs just ran into a better team. Celtics were Motivated by their Finals loss and heavy media criticism. Mavs get the opportunity for nba finals experience, especially luka who has a lot of maturing to do - being a lethal score is only one piece of the nba championship puzzle. Guys like Hardaway JR/Kleber need to go, kyrie is imo not a good fit for this team - can't have two defensive liabilities. I wonder where the mavs would be if they paid brunson instead of letting him go. Oh well, congrats to the Celtics being up 3-0. FYI all 159 nba teams down 0-3 have lost the series.

Celtic's front office is amazing at building this team. Unless other teams pick up the slack and also make good team-building decisions Celtics are definitely in a really good spot right now. I don't really think the east has good competition for them at the moment. For the West, Wolves and Nuggets still both have very solid foundations and Wolves got their experience this season. I hope Nugget's owner is more willing to spend some more money in getting them a more solid bench (and also hope MPJ eventually wakes up)

I don’t agree with the reasons points they said bout players on game 4 outside Luka JT might not go 27+ but he needs to in order to balance the smoke and challenge JB for the MVP cause so far JB is MVP not JT Kyrie actually might normally have a bigger game or at least same energy game than game 3 and role players needs to make the difference in game 4 for Dallas All that to win but honestly it’s over since 0-3 we all know it

Honestly Celtics can realistically win 2. The can double back next year if Denver don’t beat them to it. I really don’t see no team in the east even competing with them as of now. Ofcourse we’ll see the trades and moves in the off season but I doubt it. It’s about timing and there really isn’t a team in the nba to worry about other than Denver. Okc, spurs, wolves are still too young. Dallas will be dismantled after being swept by tc…

In the next five years I could see Boston winning at least 2 maybe 3. Denver gets another. Maybe twolves if gobert and towns step up big time. If Cavs can extend Mitchell and get a coach who can get these guys to up their game they could be a one and done. Knicks maybe. Mavs if Lebron takes a smaller salary.

They should dominate the East until either one leaves. It's a matter of how much luxury tax Boston is willing to pay during their tenures. Shouldn't be a problem for Boston being in that market, making all those monies. They can obviously afford to pay the luxury tax as long as they're in the black.
