The older you get the more this song hits you.. makes sense why generations before mine fell in love and actually felt it because everybody had no problem expressing how they truly felt even when things went bad. Our generation lost that and that's why I can't stand this new music but I know I can always reach back in time to catch that vibe and hopefully I get blessed with a special person who feels the exact same.

I'm a junior in high school and damn do I wish I found this beautiful track sooner, I swear lately I've just been uncovering the best 90s RnB, nobody I know my age listens to any of this and I personally find this song so melodic and soulful, it's very healing and sentimental at the same time. I gotta tell the homies that RnB is where it's at, still awaiting the day when I can play this on a night drive when I have my very own car ^^

I feel that! Don’t ever give up tho. Acknowledge your feelings and grow from it. Funny story actually, way back in high school I used to listen to this song literally all the time when I had my first heart break. I even discovered I had a quick ability to learn things on the piano. So I’d sneak away during study hall to the auditorium and play it on our schools beautiful piano. I got pretty good at it and a girl heard it from the hallway and came to see what was up. We’ve been in love ever since. 10yrs🤷♂️

The record labels are the reason we don't hear good music like this anymore. They feed the radio stations what they want, and the stations all about money and not morals anymore.

if you give a good song or a good movie 10 years. go back and watch or listen. your perspective and life experience will enable you to pick-up on things that you didn't notice or didn't understand 10 years earlier.
U know it's a good song when u spend all day bumping gangsta rap then put this jam on and gets u in ur feels... Great song
That vibe when you wonder if you do ever cross that person's mind... That person you used to shoot the breeze with, spend endless nights with.... someone you could confide in and just be 100% real & solid with. It's a totally different feeling with that one special someone & everyone has that person, one they truly never really got over. Sometimes when you're alone and you think of that someone, you wonder if they're thinking of you too. They may not be there physically anymore, but they will forever remain in your memory....

This song resonated so much during my break up in college. Almost 20+ years and I still think about what I had to go through to move forward with my life. Never again will I let another woman treat me that way again.
