I always thought I was crazy because of my love of trees. I would be riding with my late husband and always pointing trees out to him. He was an arborist and also had a love of trees. When he died I had his ashes in a container that was made from a special tree that he loved and his ashes were scattered in his favorite stream and woods.

Brian May, like his beloved tree, is the rarest of species. An authentic rock star who's been in the business for decades yet remained such a well balanced, sincere and warm individual. He's as friendly and affable as he is intelligent and talented. Truly a healthy influence to other rock legends who have ended up spoiled, entitled and arrogant. Had the pleasure of seeing Brian and the band at the Glasgow Apollo back in the 70s. Years later that gig has remained my favourite. I sense you have your dark moments of sadness too, so I hope you find lasting joy and contentment in all your future years. There's a beautiful yew tree in Fortingall, Perthshire which is said to be around 5000+ years old - possibly the oldest tree in Europe. Full of history and legend, and a favourite of mine. You should visit it sometime. Anyway Dr May, thanks so much for giving me the soundtrack to my life and for inspiring me to learn guitar. "Per ardua ad astra."🌳🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Between the death of my husband and covid, grief and depression are my middle name. You, Roger, Deaky and Freddie have gotten me through a lot. My husband had cancer was strong like Freddie was….even in death
