I hope Dog is healthy and prosperous. We all have difficulties. Life is a job. We are born, live, love and die. Some people live their lives in the public eye. They would rather I be the man I am today than the person I used to be many years ago. The clincher: I'm overwhelmed with work. I asked God through His Son to forgive me for the life I lived and He obviously did just that. My thinking is that Brian is likely responsible for Gabby's death and he should be held accountable. I don't have a problem with Dog being involved in the search.

Actually calling someone a Mexican is considered far more racist. There are racial terms for black people here but the N word is not one of them as crazy as that might sound to some people. Look up what those terms are b/c I wont post them here(keep in mind different island cultures have different words) and you will not find any instance where Dog has ever used them. @@AnneEloiseOfCNY amen, me too I have written here extensively about this and I repost as follows. This diatribe by Dr. Todd resonates with current media trashing people and it is discompassionate and taints the situation against Dog. Here is what I said above to Dr. Todd Grande: I am disappointed on your need to over tarnish Chapman, and your excessive judgmental sarcasm about his questionable virtue and motivation. None of this negates strides he has made in finding out about De Soto camping weekends TWICE which alludes to the insensitivity and possible criminality of this entire family. What's important here is that their shady behavior should be investigated. You Dr. Todd are very bright, articulate but very smug and many will now discredit even legitimate findings Dog may find. You could easily have said questionable background with some red flags but claims to be born again or somesuch and leave it at that. All of your berating did not help promote finding Brian, and possibly could taint legitimate future findings. Don't throw away the baby with the bathwater. In other words, Thumbs Down on trashing him. Open up your mind past your judgmental leanings for the sake of solving this case.

When Brian returned to Florida he was alone , and driving Gabbies van ! I am not a "Dog" fan , and have never watched his show , except maybe for a few minutes .Dog does seem to understand the criminal mind set and associated antics, although Laundrie might be a psychopath , which would be outside of Dogs ken .Prison is , allegedly , to rehabilitate wayward citizens. Dog seems to have surrendered his anti social antics . Being convicted of murder, for someone who was shot , when you are merely sitting in the car , is a strong charge , although in hindsight , it seems , carrying a gun to confront a pimp at his front door would not be expected to end well . It seems Dog has found some clues the " authorities " have not , And he has , allegedly , posted a $200,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Brian Laundrie .

I watched Dog the Bounty Hunter for a couple of seasons. I was attracted to his story and his determination to catch those who are breaking the law and turn them in. At the same time, he always tried to give help to those people who needed it. He and Beth were definitely NOT your typical socially acceptable couple. Yet, they loved their children, gave them a lovely home, a sweet life and did their best just as the rest of us are trying ( hopefully) to do. No family is perfect. No man is perfect. We all need God in our lives. Let’s not try to take the sliver out of our fellow man’s eye until we take the board out of our own. That said, I always enjoy Dr. Grande’s hilarious dry humor.

I don’t think Brian is thinking very far ahead. He has two choices right now, whether he’s guilty or not. He can either report to the police and explain his side of whatever happened, or he’s going to spend his life homeless, jobless, hidden, and eventually totally compromised as he ages and needs care and help he can no longer seek out. When you weigh those two things, choosing the latter makes him look indisputably guilty. Because what innocent person would choose the latter?

Dr Grande did not mention certain revealing stories about Dog found in his biography . For example that Dog climbed from feeding his children “tuna fish salad” sandwiches(that were cat food & mayo; he was down to his last $2)in the late 70’s to the number one Kirby Vacuum Salesman in the country (for several years running). We cannot appreciate the redemptive side of Dog unless we understand that after prison he worked 18 hour days to make something of himself in an industry that offered no salary & no compensation for gas unless you perform. Personally I run hot & cold about Dog but having read his biography in 2007, the man’s life is a story of that elusive redemption/success in America that 99.9% of felons never find and that grows ever more elusive with every new batch of “positive law” and burdensome licensure with which we are all hit every January1. He sent his kids into the world with work ethic and life skills and even though some of his compassion for his captures on Dog the Bounty Hunter were TV-extraordinaire, viewers of the show can infer that Dog does have genuine empathy for people regardless of their station in life. Dog is a complicated person. We are complicated beings. All of us. ❤️

He had been on the run for 16 yrs with countless agencies , bounty hunters etc after him and couldnt be found or caught but Dog and his team did it within a few months . That is how and why he was offered a show in the first place , it amazes me how many people have no idea that he has made a successful living finding and catching criminals for 42 yrs and who think he is just some fake reality show personality .

Suddenly all Beth merch was deep discounted. All this while Dog was being removed from his production company for being verbally abusive to people on set and using ‘Unleashed’ and his tv show created logo on CBD oil that wasn’t connected with the network or production company. The production company owned the shop, so when that went down they liquidated the store. The only merch discounted was Beth’s all Dog’s merch remained full price. How do I know, I bought a few pieces and am part of an official fan group run by the family. His daughter has a show she appears on supporting wrongly convicted people of colour and supporting their release. They are often supported by the local BLM groups because they are more aware of local cases she’s using her name to get more light cast on and has help many of these cases be reheard. This is about work in the justice system for her, not about Dog changing his image. Many fans turned away from him when he choose his kids with Beth (minus their son) to side with his new wife. Both daughters had not seen their father since their mother’s funeral and has expressed sadness in his disconnect of the family. Beth was the mortar of the family and kept Dog in line. She loved all his children, not just hers. His new wife tried on camera but I have a feeling much of that was for show. I have a feeling after a while she didn’t like standing in her shadow. Just my two cents. Any man who doesn’t love his kids unconditionally doesn’t deserve them and they are grieving the loss of both now. So as you can see there always is more to a story than just ‘BLM stuff’.

Dog had "success " on his show because there was a large team of folks making sure of it. Left to his own devices he's pawing what could have been potential evidence ( the can). He was waaaaay off from Brian's location. He claimed he got inside info. The same info the Laundrie's neighbor said on national tv. Dog decided to hop on this highly publicized case just a few weeks after he had that major fallout with his kids. Just weeks after he did an interview defending his use of the N word. I’m getting so uncomfortable with some of the coverage surrounding this case. Like some channels I used to regularly watch have switched it up to just basically cover a play-by-play of this case. Like literally just nothing but hours-long live streams covering every single update, confirmed or otherwise. Lots of backtracking when they repeat some rando’s tweet that turns out to be bogus. It’s being treated like a football game that we’re getting play by plays and conspiracy theories on the referees, and it’s just getting super uncomfortable. And I say this as somebody who actually really enjoys true crime for the most part, but this is going too far.

I don’t know, it has just gotten to an uncomfortable fever pitch for me. I hope they find the guy and I hope that more channels follow Dr. grande here’s lead and just do a couple of respectful updates without sensationalizing everything. Dr. G’s a good egg. :)

If you prefer them to be more light hearted but not like in appropriately so, That Chapter and Bailey Sarian are both good options. If you like vintage crime, I would recommend “As Close to Crime”, and for lesser known cases from outside of America Timea Crime is a really really small, but very good, channel. I’ve quit following a lot of them like true crime daily, Xylie, and DCP Because the coverage has started to feel excessive and predatory in some cases.
