I don't believe that it backfired. We have been scammed.The Dems knew what this was all about, and they used this debate in order to rid themselves of Biden, knowing that their internal polling is showing Trump will win. This debate was their device used to can Joe. Now they have an undeniable reason to do just that, not that they didn't have it before, but they lied before and said that Biden was his old self and had no issues.
