In order to protect the steel with which our trailers are made, they go through a process called galvanising. The steel chassis, having been cleaned in an acid tank is rinsed and dried, then dipped in a tank of molten zinc at 450°C which causes the molten zinc to bond with the steel and provides a protective coating that will last the lifetime of the trailer.
