Niels Bohr and Max Planck, two of the founding fathers of Quantum Theory, each received a Nobel Prize in Physics for their work on quanta. Einstein is considered the third founder of Quantum Theory because he described light as quanta in his theory of the Photoelectric Effect, for which he won the 1921 Nobel Prize.

I think one of the most overlooked conversations was the fact that the Michelson Morley experiment's 'failure' to detect an Ether in the cosmos was perhaps a heavy influence on Einstein's ability to let go of the fact that light does not behave in the way that the rest of science could not let go of....that light might actually travel without the need for a medium and, in fact, remain constant. Instead, the experiment, which was as expensive and as significant as CERN work today searching for the "God" particle, was considered flawed or lacking in ability by most all of the scientific community. Letting go, of past attachments is always required to move forward.

Michaelson-Morley was certainly nowhere near as expensive as what CERN does, today. It was also nowhere near as significant. That all physics is relative was already known since Galileo and there was little doubt about that. The ether hypothesis was, if anything, a step back in the sophistication of physical ideas. Did it have to be ruled out explicitly? Not really. One can derive special relativity from nothing else than geometry and the relativity principle. It's a very simple algebraic derivation that leaves no room for anything else than Galileo and Lorentz transformations as the fundamental symmetries of the vacuum. Galileo invariant physics, while simple, doesn't explain electromagnetism and matter, at all. It is restricted to the high school level toy model of Newtonian motion with no explanatory power for any other phenomena. That alone is enough to eliminate it as a fundamental solution to physics (and it's trivially included as a limiting case for v

To Ivory Frost: I think you are wrong Einstein was not involved with the atomic bomb (at least not directly) he warned of the power it would unleash. However, like many creative people he, as Dr. Greene stated may have gone down the (at the time, future history my prevail) wrong mathematical road. Think of music, say the Beatles, they shot there wad of creative juice and moved on. Never to be as good individually or even as a group after the 3 great albums: the last was "Abbey Road"', "Rubber Soul" and "Revolver", (perhaps snippets of the White Album). I am using this example as it is easiest for me. I hope you can follow my allusion about creative juice, amount available, and time to use it in.

Energy in its pure form is a flat stretch of surface sheets. They usually are separated by about the size of a photon. A little disturbance can create shock waves which travel in the form of light. Say when an electron jumps from an upper sheet to a lower sheet it just gives light. Once they are given sufficient energy to fall through the layers it is just like higher spin to a lower spin which gives particle emissions. Space always create these kinds of particles.

I stick to this theory because I know of a few kids that from birth had been mold to be geniuses. Stay tune about the future of those kids. They are still to young to see what is going to happen to this kids in years to come. Right now everybody that observe this kids, think they are different super intelligent, highly capable. This kids before the age of 2 years old they knew how to read, write amazing skills on math. By the age of 3 years old. They know biology like a high school students. They know physics and chemistry. Have you seen a 3 year old that knows all the 118 elements of the periodic table with their atomic number. Well this kids know it all. This kids have been in an enrich environment full of love, with lots of fun activities. We use music lots of music to open, expand and make connections with every part of their brain. So far this theory is working for this kids. So yes we still believe that geniuses are made.

+FIDIA Lafaurie "By the age of 3 years old. They know biology like a high school students. They know physics and chemistry. Have you seen a 3 year old that knows all the 118 elements of the periodic table with their atomic number." Knowledge is not the same as intelligence. I know plenty of people that know a lot, but are as dumb as a stump. But I do agree, intelligence can indeed be nurtured. But some form of intelligence must be genetic, or else why are most of us smarter than chimps? This would also imply a spread in baseline intelligence amongst humans.

The page Nexus of Physics has now given the following two writings the thumbs up on their page. ALSO consider this: E=mc2 is DIRECTLY and fundamentally derived from F=ma, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS time DILATION proves that electromagnetism/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. THE UNIVERSAL AND MATHEMATICAL PROOF THAT ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY: Energy has/involves GRAVITY, AND ENERGY has/involves inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE. "Mass"/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. E=mc2 is DIRECTLY and fundamentally derived from F=ma. GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY IS proportional to (or BALANCED with/as) inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. SO, gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent with/as what is BALANCED electromagnetic/gravitational force/ENERGY; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent with/as what is BALANCED electromagnetic/gravitational force/ENERGY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY are linked AND BALANCED opposites, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. THE SUN AND THE EARTH are described and represented by BOTH F=ma AND E=mc2. F=ma AND E=mc2 PROVE that ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY, AS ALL of SPACE is NECESSARILY electromagnetic/gravitational (IN BALANCE). Objects fall at the same rate (neglecting air resistance, of course), AS the SPEED OF LIGHT is RELATIVELY CONSTANT AS WELL. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY. In fact, the rotation of THE MOON MATCHES it's revolution; AS gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. So, THE PLANETS (INCLUDING WHAT IS THE EARTH) are not "falling" in what is "curved SPACE" in RELATION to what is THE SUN. This is nonsense. E=mc2 is DIRECTLY AND FUNDAMENTALLY DERIVED FROM F=ma. This truly explains PERPETUAL MOTION. Very importantly, outer "space" involves full inertia; AND it is fully invisible AND black. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. A PHOTON may be placed the center of THE SUN (as A POINT, of course), as the reduction of SPACE is offset by (or BALANCED with) the SPEED OF LIGHT; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. By Frank DiMeglio EINSTEIN NEVER UNDERSTOOD PHILOSOPHY, MATHEMATICS, AND PHYSICS, AS HE HAS BEEN TOTALLY OUTSMARTED BY SIR FRANK MARTIN DIMEGLIO: The balance of being AND EXPERIENCE is ESSENTIAL. BALANCE AND completeness go hand in hand. THE SELF represents, FORMS, and experiences a COMPREHENSIVE approximation of experience in general by combining conscious and unconscious experience. MOREOVER, the ability of THOUGHT to DESCRIBE OR RECONFIGURE sensory experience is ULTIMATELY dependent upon the extent to which THOUGHT IS SIMILAR TO sensory experience. THOUGHTS ARE INVISIBLE. Dream experience is/involves true/real QUANTUM GRAVITY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. MOST IMPORTANTLY, in dreams, BODILY/VISUAL EXPERIENCE is invisible AND VISIBLE IN BALANCE. IMPORTANTLY, dream experience is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. THE EYE is ALSO the body. Dreams improve upon memory AND UNDERSTANDING. Indeed, there is no outsmarting the GENIUS of dreams. OVERLAY what is THE EYE in BALANCED RELATION to/with what is THE EARTH. NOW, get a good LOOK at what is the translucent, SEMI-SPHERICAL, QUANTUM GRAVITATIONAL, AND BLUE sky. Excellent. The DOME of a person's EYE is ALSO VISIBLE. THE EARTH IS also BLUE (as water). F=ma AND E=mc2 PROVE that, why, and how ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, and describes what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. SO, it is NECESSARILY a matter of precisely how these equations are understood in a BALANCED, EXTENSIVE, AND INTEGRATED fashion in RELATION to/with WHAT IS THOUGHT. The INTEGRATED EXTENSIVENESS of THOUGHT (AND description) is improved in the truly superior mind. E=mc2 is DIRECTLY and fundamentally derived from F=ma. Very importantly, outer "space" involves full inertia; AND it is fully invisible AND black. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. A PHOTON may be placed at the center of THE SUN (as A POINT, of course), as the reduction of SPACE is offset by (or BALANCED with) the SPEED OF LIGHT; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Get a good LOOK at what is THE EYE. POINTS are points. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY IS proportional to (or BALANCED with/as) inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent with/as what is BALANCED electromagnetic/gravitational force/ENERGY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Energy has/involves GRAVITY, AND ENERGY has/involves inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE. F=ma AND E=mc2 PROVE that ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY, AS ALL of SPACE is NECESSARILY electromagnetic/gravitational IN BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. GREAT. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. OPEN your EYES. NOW, LOOK at what is the FLAT, SETTING, AND ORANGE SUN (with the SPACE around it THEN going invisible AND VISIBLE IN BALANCE). This ORANGE SUN manifests or forms at what is EYE LEVEL/BODY HEIGHT as well. This ORANGE SUN is manifest ON BALANCE as what is NECESSARILY the BODILY/VISUAL EXPERIENCE of THE EARTH/LAVA. The viscosity of LAVA IS BETWEEN what is manifest as WATER AND THE EARTH/GROUND. ALL of SPACE is NECESSARILY electromagnetic/gravitational IN BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. F=ma AND E=mc2 do provide absolute, BALANCED, THEORETICAL, and CLEAR proof that ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. THEREFORE, the rotation of THE MOON MATCHES it's revolution. MOREOVER, a given PLANET (INCLUDING WHAT IS THE EARTH) sweeps out equal areas in equal times; AND this is THEN consistent with/as what is F=ma, E=mc2, AND what is PERPETUAL MOTION; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. It ALL makes perfect sense. BALANCE AND completeness go hand in hand. THE PLANETS (INCLUDING WHAT IS THE EARTH) are NOT "falling" in what is "curved SPACE". In fact, this is nonsense. It is PROVEN. Yes, Dr. Brian! Space-Time at the fundamental level is made of Vibrating Springs called "NUMBERS". This is a revelation from a brand New discovery. It simply means that Numbers are real entities which make all the visible and invisible stuff in the universe. If you want to know more, please ask me.

To Zacky: If you are going to allude to a curse word and use symbols instead of letters use the correct number. The word you alluded to has 4 letters, hence 2 symbols (as you used the first and last letters) not 3 symbols, Intelligence anyone? Also, she did not dismiss the comments by the speaker, she stayed with the subject, a subject alluded to many times by Einstein himself throughout his life. I thought the moderator did a good job especially with the breadth and width of the topic-from neurological to philosophical through hard science. Kudos to all of the panel!

The topic is the greatest scientist! But unfortunately he’s is nearly as famous for his resistance against quantum mechanics! He has a point though. Nobody has ever understand the true nature of quantum mechanics! And we actually didn’t try before this century ( Poul Dirac did , and his equation might be a severe candidate to this quest ) but today it is string theory, multiverses etc- but how to test it- right now it’s a philosophical hypothesis- so in a sense not science! It has to be tested measured and predictable!

Albert's view of 'god' was a long running joke. Having been forced to declare a religion in order fill in a blank on a form for university employment he was resentful of the imposition of an inferior theory. He invented his own religion and this has been his little joke on theists and atheists alike that he maintained to for the rest of his life. Ignore all his god talk and concentrate on the physics if you want to understand his thinking.
