Im a 9er fan but i LOVED watching cush play. Dude was like straight out of the 80s. On roids and just a mad man 😂 but seriously the man was a vicious linebacker and he gave it everything he had
Not a Houston fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching Cushing play on Sundays. Every play was 150% effort and it showed.

Cushing then head butted the camera and jogged off into the sunset. We played him in high school and watching this maniac tackle everyone only to immediately flip to running back and truck our defense was unbelievable. Two way star. We beat him his junior year and then honestly we easily would’ve won his senior year but he had multiple sacks and ran for their only touchdowns and they won by 3. After he left HS, my school Bosco won like 7 out of the next 8 state championships loll happy to get Cushing the hell out of Jersey. Unbelievable player. Elevates his own team andd the competition.

We still miss you, Cush. My personal favorite was just watching how you made a tackle, usually seen from behind throwing your arms wide and engulfing some poor schmuck. It was pure poetry. They used to say, "You can't tell the players without a program". But your style was unmistakable from the nose bleed seats. You need to be up there with Dre. Brain Cushing Was A Monster🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪
Cush was great. That defense in the early 2010s was live wire. Texans came very close, but unlucky with injuries at QB position. That playoff game against Baltimore was so close, D played lights out but offense with Yates at the helm was not enough to push it across the line.

It’s interesting when you look at how many incredible people have come out of New Jersey. They’re gone on to accomplish amazing things I know it sounds silly but the state produces stars in all industries. I married a Jersey girl, so I notice this is speaking from Boy from California. There’s simply a toughness of people in New Jersey that precedes them if that makes sense.
