Brian Brazeal Style Horse Head Shoe Horn and Hook!

In today's 'how to make' I will go over in great detail forging a horse head shoe horn and wall hook. I will be making the heads in a sort of Brian Brazeal style ish and go over all the tools and material you will need.
This project would make a great gift idea for Christmas or Birthdays. Its also a great blacksmith project for any level smith and they are super fun to make.

Horse heads are a challenge. But I'll eventually conquer them. Good video!

Awesome horse heads, lots of ways to make them different to each other I quite enjoy putting the mane lines in before bending the head around and it stretches the lines out giving it a cool effect or I use a Small hand fuller and hit it diagonal to the steel to give the mane some more depth to it. It’s incredible what you can do to a simple design to put your own twist to it! Keep the good work up

Seen a few videos on making the horse heads in that style, this one seems clearer than the rest. They came out great, might have to try a couple for the holidays. As always, great presentation and explanation!

Another great video, I really like the way the horse heads turned out. I'm definitely trying to make one this weekend. I need to make some fire tools for a coal forge I bought so they will make good practice for that :D

Funny how much Brazeal style stuff I see that I was taught to do long before I ever heard of Brian.lol

Long over expiration on the comments, but Brian doesn't claim these are his. Kind of a thing he's known for. Same with rounding hammers, and the techniques he teaches using the edge of the email anvil.
