This is a great interviewer. He asks questions that he really seems to want to know the answers to. Plus he doesn't over talk Brian.

I so love you and your skating. You seem very happy and I so hope that your life has been very happy. I just finished watching your 1988 gold medal performance once again. I love going back at watching it all the time.

As one of Brian’s biggest fans, I’d lost track after the Olympics. This is a wonderful interview and he’s still a champion in so many ways! I’m glad to see his continued success and happiness. ❤️

I can't believe Brian is 58! Wow does time fly! But I also can't believe I'm 60 either. He's been such an incredible role model for the sport and for LGBTQ youth. He inspired me as a very amateur figure skater, I marveled at his mastery of the sport, and it was a wonderful part of my life. Ironically, I'm also a classical singer like his partner. So I know that both worlds require dedication, passion, and lots of practice and hard work! It's wonderful that he's enjoying the flow of life and connecting with his friends and Italian roots and living the life of his dreams. I'm also Italian and it must be a dream come true to renovate his grandfather's home. I greatly enjoyed his wonderful relaxed yet professional commentary for the Beijing Olympics - a breath of fresh air when everything else was God awful. He and Ashley are so beautifully down to earth and complementary and fun! This was a fantastic interview. It was good to get to know you Brian. Thanks both of you!

Gosh I hope he does something like a Netflix show or something that gives us more of all he is. Amazing interview. I skated for years as a kid and got so much out of this interview. Thank you!

I think the interest in skating has decreased because skating doesn’t have the “personalities” that it had when Brian Boitano, Scott Hamilton, Victor Petrenko and all the other skaters of his era had. Todays skaters just don’t have it. Love Brian. He’s my all time favorite.

At 23:00 minutes in - you’re wondering why skating isn’t as popular anymore. I blame the scoring process. As a fan, I totally understood the scoring and now - forget about it.

Yes...the new "Code of Points" has ruined skating. ..by awarding big points for quad jumps and frenetic movement...style and choreography has been lost...now all programs look the same !

Brian skating to "Missing You" It's Icoinic. Only Okana's "Arabian" is at that level. Thank you Tonya Harding for creating the audience and literally the money for a few years after Lillehammer to facilitate where Professional Figure skating went--even if for just a few years, YOu deserved no to be able to skate again.
