Brian & Katarina did 3 skating tours - that were entirely their production along with Sandra Bezic, choreographer, and several other extremely talented skaters. The kind of skating tour shows that would send shivers up and down your spine and leave you breathless. Such a shame the TV networks won't put all their footage into DVD format for the public to enjoy. Don't they realize that they would make even more money than hiding that stuff in their archives????? Idiots.

Had to watch them again...soo gorgeous x2...very romantic performance...love them!

This was the same performance they did when their tour came to Atlanta. I traveled 250 miles just to see this show. It still gives me chills whenever I see it. This was figure skating at its finest.

They both look so wonderful in this event showing us their exсellent sense of style and music! Bravo!!!

i think you can practice almost anything. the chemistry between two people is - in my opinion - one thing you simply can't fake. i think if you try to fake it, it somehow shows. this performance - of course it was practising - but the chemistry between two people, even friends, i won't believe you can fake it.

Extraordinarily romantic. Brian has such a strong, masculine body that is so appealing to women and since 90% of the people who watch figure skating are women who want to be swept away by a romantic fantasy, it's a good idea to aim towards that audience. Always know your audience and romance never goes out of style. Class and art never go out of style. Being a good looking man with grace and strength never goes out of style. There's an innocence in his eyes and a passion where you know he is giving it everything he has, and it was enough! He is my favorite. Bravo!

Lord have mercy! I was thinking something similar. She is so gorgeous and he is too! Adorable as a couple but alas, only in our imaginations and theirs. Obviously they had some kind of chemistry but in this case probably more good acting skills than real. Was the kiss even real or theatrical? Lol. But a beautiful performance regardless. We all love to believe in fairy tales.

to someone who never have seen this before this is like performance of whole different level. she is amazing as usual, and she has make flirt to art. but skating with other top skater moved this performance - how i would say - "like out of this world". i think there won't be never become another katarina and brian was also incredible. that kind of chemistry you don't see often. thank you, ballinagra13.

Thanks for posting. I was lucky as a teenager when my parents took me to see all of Brian's "Skating" tours with Katarina. I loved the concept of these shows.

@HattieLovesCattie The only famous ice skater I have seen "live" is Peggy Fleming, again, many years ago. She was in a beautiful pink outfit and skated to "Ave Maria," I believe. The entire place was in darkness except for one spotlight on her. She had us all mesmerized with her skating. I will never forget it. Unfortunately, I'll probably never get to see Brian Boitano skate, even though I understand he is STILL skating! That is incredible!

Though it is well known that Brian has other interests, these two are entirely charming skating as a couple. Love them both. My heart belongs to Torvill and Dean, but Katarina and Brian are delightful. It would not surprise me to hear they both attend ballet class.

The chemistry between them is so intense they could easily pass as a heterosexual couple!! LOL

@HattieLovesCattie I miss those competitions. But I have a few ice skating videos of past competition performances which I watch from time to time, plus Brian's Olympic Long Program from 1988 in Calgary.

I miss them, too. Figure skating has not been the same since the Kerrigan/Harding scandal in 1994, when it turned the sport into a three-ring circus.

@carolinemitsuko He does.He looks much better now with more hair.I 've been lucky to attend a few of his shows.

@carolinemitsuko I am talking about Brian.I got to see a few of his shows when I lived near LA years ago and here on the east coast.I like Brian's short program more,probably coz of the music.Yes,I am talking about Brian in the same way you were thinking of Ondrej.

@carolinemitsuko There are hardly any pro skating competitions on TV anymore so we don't see them skate much.Last year they had those skate live things to singers on a stage.

The only way a man pulls this off is to be gay..because as a straight man I can tell you I'd never get thru a performance with Katarina like this, cold showers and blue balls 24/7..in any case 2 amazing skaters in their element

@HattieLovesCattie Are you talking about Brian Boitano? I was referring to Ondrej Nepela. If you're talking about Brian, you are very lucky. I've never seen Brian live and in person. I saw his 1988 Olympic Long Program and never forgot it but everything else I've seen only here on KZread or on TV programs like the Today Show on NBC.

@carolinemitsuko Hey,you're not the only one.:)Lots of men ahem like Brian are so good looking.:) Another hunk was Ondrej Nepela who won in Sapporo in 1972.Him too but hey,he was hunky.He died of aids in 1989.You can find two clips of him here on YT skating.

They looked so in love. I didn't know Brian was gay until recently. I always thought those two would make a good couple.

They're still good friends until now. Katarina's life documentaries is never complete without someone knowing Brian Boitano's point of view towards her. I suggest you must watch Katarina's documentary in the Olympic Channel where you can see how great their friendship is. Katarina even told that she and BB's ice shows maded the Golden Age of Figure Skating. It's still a mystery whether they became lovers or their friendship is just like on that level. And I wonder why the heck both of them stayed single, even if Brian is gay and Kati dated a lot of guys. Hmmm.........

This is the kind of performance John Curry and Jo Jo Starbuck would have done back in the 70s

I was at a show they both were in, I think I was about 11, I was a big skating groupie back then. Where our seats were I could see the sort of "back stage" area of the skaters. Brain finished a number and I saw Katarina pull him into a dark corner and they started making out.. So.... I know what he says now, maybe he was going through a confusing time at the time but there was definitely something going on with them at one point.

Katarina had gone to Kurt Russel's town to see if he wanted to do, "pairs". It never happened as reporters phoned police to say that Katarina had "witnessed an accident and fled". Katarina came into town by bus and left by bus...but the reporters stalking scared the match..

First of all, Kurt Russell is not and was not a skater. Second of all, if you meant Kurt Browning (who IS a skater), he was much too small in build to do pair skating with her. About 5'8" to Brian's 5'11". So your story makes no sense.
