Brian Alsruhe & Alan Thrall | Mark Bell's PowerCast
Спорт
The aggressively squared-jawed strongman competitor, Brian Alsruhe and local strongman competitor/gym owner (and tall garden gnome), Alan Thrall, bring their bromance to the show. Brian has his own gym, NEVERSate Athletics in Westminster, Maryland, and is working hard toward his lightweight strongman pro card. Coming from a martial arts background, Brian was drawn to strongman after the death of his friend and World’s Strongest Man competitor, Mike Jenkins.
We kick the show off talking about how internet forums shaped the strength world way back in the late 90s and early 2000’s.
You can find Brian at @neversate on social media, / alphatnation , and at neversate.com.
You can find Alan at @untamedstrength, / athrall7 and www.trainuntamed.com/

Brian Alsruhe has the best channel...still love Mark Bell, Alan Thrall, Mike Rashid, Tony Sentmanat, Jeff Cavaliere, Buff Dudes, Jerry Teixeira, Eugenios Slidi, Master Shredda, Elliot Hulse etc.
There are many people giving solid information about training, etc. in the youtube, but beyond that, Brian is also VERY good at getting people motivated and fired up! One of my favorite youtubers and I'm so happy that you guys at Supertraining gave Brian this opportunity.

Man, I hope so too, thank you so much!
I'm a huge fan Brian , I would of starting doing strong man years ago rather than weight training/bodybuilding had I realised it would of met my needs, but I'm 54 and it wasn't around when I started training at 15 years old ,but the sleeves for knees and elbows boy I wished they were available back then . Listening to you guy's talking about warming up was great made sense another gem , never stop learning I don't intend to stop training either lifting more and heavier than I ever have ,thanks for inspiring bro.
Im here for Brian. The most underrated fitness youtuber of all thyme.
Been waiting to hear this pod with Brian. It did not disappoint. Can't wait for him to come back sometime.

Brian Alsruhe big fan. Keep up the good work. Maybe upload a few curl videos....
Is Mark standing on a box?
Love Mike's comment about foam rolling and Barbell Brigade overdoing it. I see that in their videos a lot. You see Bart doing a lot of warming up, rolling, the leg swings. I think he's setting the tone for that. Bart is still pretty bro in a lot of the things he says and does in terms of his programming and exercise selection. It seems to be a little contrary to what Mike or Omar would do.
It took awhile! been waiting for this guys.

Eddie Hall's 500kg wasn't on the elephant bar! Was straps + suit, though
In high school we did straight legs/some other lower body pull, then into deadlift, then into hang cleans, and lastly into power clean.
Hopefully Brians youtube goes viral, very good content

i think alan and brian could have a great podcast show! that would be great entertainment and info wise.
The more I hear you talk about books and the way you learn the more it seems like we have similar brains. I just have a lot less time under the barbell than you. As someone who's dream it is to open a place very similar to neversate that is extremely motivating.
watching now...wondering if Alan will talk about his legal adoption of silent mike?
I definitely thought it was Brian Alshure

Mark Bell was Jackass on elitefts way back in the day?! I never made the connection. I agree with Jim, I really thought he was a tool! This is such a blast to the past... Deepsquatter! So many people used to post there. It's too bad it's been down for almost 10 years.
can I get this on Soundcloud?
So.. when are the SuperTraining Coach shorts coming out?... Already have collared shirts, whistle and clipboard.

DanieI Joseph His elbow has just been a problem, so he's shelved that plan. He was going to do his last meet then retire, but guess that's not happening. So he's been just doing squats and deadlifts.

BrandXREporting You can certainly be above average in terms of being healthier, fitter, and stronger than the vast majority of the human population. What's depressing, though, is that the average is so low.
