This is natural for petrol engine cars. Torque of diesel engines are comparatively higher than same cubic capacity petrol engines. That is why when AC is on in case of diesel engine, due to greater torque, power required to the Pully & belt to turn the A.C. compressor adjusts easily within the torque range but lesser torque patrol engine draws more power from engine thus burns more fuel while A.C. is on. It happens with all petrol engine cars. I have my Ritz 1200 cc patrol car giving me 16.5 -18 Km/L in highway at 70- 85 km/hr. but with AC on that reduced to 14.5 - 16 Km/L on same highway at the same speed range.

always buy cng variant...it gives around 20-22km/kg with full time ac on with windows open...i tried this on full tank of cng of 7 kilo and it gave me around 155km on 600rupees 🙃

U r 100percent rt when u would run with ac mileage would definitely reduce like without ac 15 with ac 11? Reply me am rt/ wrong with reason?

Bilkul sahi bola aap ne, when AC on in Brezza, milage is 15 kmpl in highway, when AC is OFF, I got milage of 20.3 kmpl. I am a loght foot driver with avg speed 80 - 100 kmph.
