Regarding your car insurance - You could refer to any online platforms such as ACKO, Phone Pe, CRED, etc to check out for best offers. I’d suggest keeping the IDV value of the car high, include ZD and RSA (helps when you need it). Pro tip- you could check with Maruti which all insurers has a cashless option with them. Then decide on the insurer from outside based in who all has a cashless facility. Back story - I met with an accident recently and have gone through the whole process. I own a Hyundai and had an Oriental Insurance cover. Didn’t have ZD cover so had to pay 30% of the total cost of repair. But most services centres doesn’t have a cashless facility with non-private coverage insurers. However my experience was seamless although I had bought a first party insurance from outside. Hope this helps.

Hi !! My advice to you would be to go for any of the Indian PSU insurance companies like National Insurance, New India Assurance etc.... Suggest don't go for private insurers as in case of any claims private insurers show their true colors and comes out with all sorts of reasons to not pay..
