Two more great places to ride within a short drive from Brevard are Pleasent ridge County Park just north of Greenville Sc and Croft state park in Spartanburg Sc. Southside trails. You can het directions to the trail heads from Trailforks or call the Trek store in Spartanburg.

Bracken Mountain is a blast. It's the best place to ride after heavy rains. The place dries out better than all the other local trails. It was recommended by James at Squatch. Otherwise we would've never known about it. Enjoyed the condo tour.

I lived in NC for 3 years and loved it. Then I moved to Boston, met my wife and any chance of me getting out of Massachusetts vanished like a fart in the wind!

Clint be sure to check out Spencer gap. There is a gravel road climb up to the Blueridge pkwy. I don't recommend riding the pkwy thus time of year because there are I 8 tunnels I think tgat are dangerous to vo through on a bike. Only when the pkwy closes in the winter. Slencer gap has some cool trails. You can access them from the campground in Mills river recreation area. Great gravel roads all over the place.

I love Brevard. I went to music camp there as a kid, and fell in love with Pisgah Ntl. Forest. I'm a river rat, ret., lolz. Have always wondered about living there.

@@ClintGibbs Yes. It's technically called the Brevard Music Center. It's amazing. I don't remember particular trails, but we had access to the grounds. Including several trails.

magpie meat n three right next door to squatch bikes has some outstanding smoked meat..

That’s very nice. Just don’t drive in garage with bikes on the roof!!!! Yea I did the once 😫

Someone in my family did it twice. Which is why we have hitch racks now.

Pretty easy to kick the door down and take 15g’s of bikes ... I’d probably bring the bike up to the living room myself 😬
