It's been a long time coming, but I FINALLY pulled the trigger and got the brentune stage 1 kit for my 2021 S1000rr Mpackage. This video is a quick Brentune stage 1 review and general set-up and installation of the brentune with their handheld module. From the get, I knew I was lacking power on the bottom on of the s1000rr. Especially compared to my previous CBR1000rr that I've owned which had great throttle response even at lower RPM. The Brentune was easy to install and only took a few minutes. The longest part of the process was emailing them the file and waiting to get the new file back. Which still, only took a day. My first thoughts are I'm super happy about the stage 1.

Mine will be next. I already had the flash tune device from when I had the 2021 R1 and now I have the cable for the 2021 S1K all I need to is get past this 600 mile break in period. Great video and congratulations on the 1k subs 🙌🏽

@@SethMichael I’m having problems finding titanium headers because I absolutely love the the SC project that came with the bike from the dealership. It’s just so damn quiet it’s driving me insane. I don’t think I can ever convert over to an electric motorcycle 😂

Seth, do you think the tune improves the vibration on the motorcycle or is pretty much the same as before? Still too noticeable? Did you get weighted end-bars? Thanks!

Vibration still seems about the same with the tune. I notice a few vibration sounds in the body work up front and I'm trying to track them all down. For bar ends, I just have the lever guards which I imagine help out a little bit at least.
Did you get excessive fuel drain with Brent tune? I’m only getting 100 miles on a full tank. What happened with fuel pump and coils?
Love your videos! Pulls are sweet too! Great explanation for the Bren tuning. What’s the cost for the tune? Any engine issues with the tune? Last, does tuning void the warranty?

I appreciate that! The cost of the tune was around $1,000. No issues related to the tune at all. I just had some known issues that the warranty took care of such as the coils, throttle assembly and fuel pump.

Brentuning actually says they include better heat management with the tune which could potentially help the longevity..
I just got mine too. I got 63 miles so far. If you have that brentune hook me up. I’m assuming once you download it to the flasher you can put it on as many bikes as you want as long as there the same bikes right?

For the handheld, it's tied to your VIN so it can't be put on multiple bikes, unfortunately. But having the handheld is a nice thing. It stores your factory stock tune as well just in case you ever need to revert back for service or whatever the case is.
Love my bike, but we are lucky enough to have the Euro version, any side note your lights are much better than mine

I was actually curious about that. Is there any tune that Euro guys are doing on their bikes? Or is it already awesome right away out of the box?
But the Bren Tune will void your warranty, won’t it?

Yes, the cold starts are super smooth! No more embarrassing cold starts! lol

Does this void factory warranty if the dealer tunes for you?

Only if the tune causes an issue.

Yes it will. A crate engine from BMW will run you about 6 to 7 grand.
Does the bren tune mess with the warranty? Lol

Not unless the tune causes an issue. With the tune, it can be reverted back to stock at any time.
Can’t understand why people care about a higher than normal,idle for a few seconds. All cars and bikes do that.
Dead spot was between 6 to 8rpm

The dead spot is real, and once you hit 9k the bike takes off like a space x rocket 🚀 I also got the stage 1 but haven’t tried it out bc it’s winter:
