You're taking what he said completely out of context. He said that DDP was on the losing end of all his fights until he managed to pull off a finish and Rob was the only fighter that he actually dominated from beginning to end (which I agree still isn't something to scoff at).

He's gifted, on the ground.... but it's not total domination, given how OLD Paul Craig is. Allen is not even in his prime prime, yet. He's what?, 27? He's just much faster and more agile --- able and willing to suffer more physical pain, as he himself humbly noted here --- than a guy with a 15 year-old daughter like Craig!

Man the amount of disrespect the mma community give Allen is insane! He is on a 6 fight win streak with 5 of those wins by rnc. Allen needs to fight a top 10 or top 5 fighter, because he deserves it.

The middleweight divison has lacked elite grapplers for the last 6 years, so it's nice that this kid is here to show some grappling again. Anderson was the last champ to even do submissions in a title fight. Other than that, Plessis also does submissions, which is great.

I think he'll have to get two more before they give him a shot. Marvin would be a good next fight. Then a tittle eliminator. Very impressive performance all the same.

Allen keeps going on about how lucky Dricus is, but what he fails to realize is that the harder Dricus trains, the luckier he gets. Funny how that works.

He hasn't earned a #1 contender fight yet. He has 0 wins in the top 10. Winning streaks alone only go so far. You have to beat top guys. He needs at least 2 more fights. 1's not going to cut it. Paul was ranked 13th. His next fight should be someone ranked 10th-6th and THEN a #1 contender fight against someone in the top 5. That's how it works. Unless you're a draw which he is not.
