On Sunday, May 19, 2024, Brenda Carol Gohn went to her Heavenly home at age 74.
Brenda was born to Billy and Ruby Miles on July 9, 1949, in Greenville, Texas. She was the mother of four children: Lorie (Armando) Marez, Allen (Donna) Gohn, Michelle (Wayne) McAdams, and Amanda (Alissa) Cutshall.
She dedicated her life to the Lord, her family, and her community.
At age 58, Brenda earned her high school degree and began working as a library assistant at Kaufman County Library-where she fostered her passion for reading and helping others.
Brenda was a beloved mother, grandmother, gigimaw, sister, and friend. She brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives and will be deeply missed.
She joins her parents; daughters, Michelle and Lorie; as well as two sisters, Glenda Katherine Wilson and Linda Sue Kuhn, in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members.
Services are set for 1 p.m. on June 15, at Victory Baptist Church in Paris, Texas.
