I studied Social work in College and my husband studied mechanical engineering. He could not wrap his head around social sciences. Twenty two years later, we watched Brene’s Netflix special and he got it! Brene’ taught my husband vulnerability! It has changed our lives! Last year for Christmas all he wanted was his own copy of each of her books! He’s read them all numerous times. I wish I could hug her!!!

I ADORE Brene and Engineers have a different way of thinking, that's just facts. My niece is married to an engineer. That's why some people can be astrophysicists & other people, like me, say Don't tell me, it's too overwhelming & my brain cannot comprehend all that! God BLESS your husband for opening a new area of his brain and God BLESS you for your work in social services!

You have made me want to buy Brené's books now! She is brilliant x
1. The ability to rumble with vulnerability. Don’t tap out when things get hard, including giving or receiving feedback 2. Learn how to live into our values through behaviors. 3. Build trust 4. Know how to reset and get back up when you fail

Brene Brown is one of my all time favorites...she does the research and presents with such authenticity, heart and humor. I’m so glad you had her on Jimmy!!
Brene Brown is amazing. I am reading her book "Rising Strong" along with 9 friends. She leads us to get in touch with our emotions and get curious about them.
The series is amazing. She is such a wonderful influence, especially during these days.

I absolutely LOVE Brené Brown! I'm so grateful to get a double dose of her inspiration on a weekly basis now in the Dare to Lead podcast AND Unlocking Us podcast. I feel like I fell out of the lucky tree, hit every branch on the way down, and ended up in a pool of cash and Sour Patch kids.

Brene' Brown's Braving the Wilderness has been a saving grace for me, especially in these uncertain times.
It’s so great to see Brené on the show! Thank You!!
My professor has this book as a requirement for reading for leadership and I am so glad to have stumbled upon this course for personal and professional development
she is very clear and explicit on being present and what that truly means. engage fully. Brava!
Thank you so much Dear Brene, you've been such a blessing for so MANY. Your research and beautiful delivery of it has helped people see that being honest is worth it... I'm in a bit of a shame spiral due to my bipolar rants, but I'm also proud that my vulnerabilities have sparked much needed conversations.
On top of being brilliant when it comes to the importance of vulnerability, she has amazing taste in music 🎶 🎶 ❤
I love Brené so much! So glad you have her on your show!
This woman mentioned Townes Van Zandt as her first song, that's so awesome. The most underrated singer songwriter ever!
Those five song picks were just incredible! Love, love, love that she picked Townes.
Brene is one amazing woman. Thank you for everything you do Brene! You are making a huge contribution to the world!! leaders have to be good examples to the rest, otherwise they cannot be leaders.
I love this lady's work. Life changing.
Reading my book right now! It’s awesome and so is Brene!

I just found Brené Brown! What an amazing woman. Thank's for the video, Jimmy!
I am inspired with songs, a part of my life, the reason I write. I can express my thoughts and feelings. Why "haaah"? it sparks my mind and begin to share, a true story and experiences to tell. History repeats itself but never to forget to love and respect. ✌️🙏🏿Thank you so much. God bless. 😘

Ive always been here ..daily watching..
This woman is absolutely brilliant.
That was pretty cool. / Right on Point.
Yes, exactly!
THE QUEEN. My mentor.
someone knows the name of the song that plays at the end please
For me, a literal lifesaver.
I've used "everyone is a leader" as a core premise behind human growth and development trainings that I developed and conducted for decades. That people don't seem to understand that everyone has a role to play and influences people around them is beyond me. You can be a positive leader or a negative leader. I don't think a negative leader that gains power is good for anyone's future. So when people try to say that Trump is brave, they've lost me. Brave people don't other people; brave people don't stoop to scapegoating and name calling. He does.
Anyone know the name of the song for the outro that the Roots play?
She's an awesome person with priceless advice. Rumble with vulnerability, live into our values, trust and meaningful, meaningful conversations, being able to reset. 👍👍👍👏👏👏😊
Yes!!! She’s my shero!!!!
They look like the happiest mom and kid ever. (He's too young for you, Dr. Brown...!!!)😍
“ don’t tap out of hard conversations “… I wish I knew this years ago….would have changed my life for the better….

❤️❤️❤️❤️

So she also has great taste in music!!
Moving around in space looking for opportunities to uplift others...Leadership. Nurturing human potential. Walking a path of service.

When Brene's day comes, she's going to the place in Heaven where only the most enlightened people go! People like Ghandi and John Lennon :)

I try to focus on the video. and I fucking can't. all I can do is sob my soul out. people always think I'm much-much older than I am. and it's so-so very-very humiliating. it fills me with overwhelming grief and rage and shame. how will I ever attract a mate, if the opposite sex isn't attracted to me? I literally die inside. part of me dies: from the powerlessness and the shame...
Hi - Patrick here from Mind LIfe Flow - Brene Brown has such important information to share with the world! What are your favourites?
Antenna cm 4228 ..
What are you building in 234 countries..curious..
What are the 5 songs you have to have? Mine: Rhiannon, Fleetwood Mac It's gonna be a beautiful night, Prince Whole album, Led Zeppelin 4( yes, I count it as one and it's cheating, 🤷) Killing in the name of, RATM Fairies wear boots, Black Sabbath Your turn...
If you ask the questions 'What's the future of leadership and who's going to be leading in 5 or 10 year's time?' and then accept and publicise the answer 'We need braver leaders' as valid or in anyway 'useful' without trying to redirect your respondents to clarify their response, and make it applicable to the questions you actually asked ...maybe don't start pontificating or obfuscating. Self help, buzzword, unawareness. A Joseph Smith for the modern age. I thought of that whilst in the cheap seats, but dared to type it only once I was in the arena...at least that's the story I am currently telling myself.
