sorry but Slim definitely won that. Just because he was more subtle doesn't mean he shouldn't have won. It's the smallest details that count, not who's doing the biggest or most obvious moves. Slim killed that. I like Breeze too but Slim got that. congrats to the winner.

+NapturalDivinity Breeze's musicality was what I saw as evident more than Slim. Breeze accentuated the music well both rounds, while Slim did very well on the second.

+Luey Vivant Nah, Slim's musicality was just as evident. You have to really have an eye for what he's doing. The best dancers are usually the ones that at first glance, most will look at and say "Huh but he didn't do anything" because their style is so subtle that it's easy to miss if you aren't paying close attention. Slim definitely deserved that win, and he got it. It's cool to be a beat-killer, but making the connection to the music is also very important, otherwise it just looks like you're going through the motions. Slim made the connection to the music, so even though his moves were not big and obvious like Breeze's it was still enough for him to win. Like I said, Breeze is a great dancer, but ON THIS DAY, Slim was better. That's just how it goes sometimes.

+NapturalDivinity Hm, I still gotta stick with Breeze for winning this battle (imo) because he also had more genuine crowd feedback/excitement, which is a key factor in battling. I'm not bias for either person, I see with a naked eye with popping background but as someone else in comments said. Slim has a bigger rep so he obviously won. It all depends on judges opinion in the end. You note the details, I note battle performance. Peace n love [=

Slim had cleaner moves, but Breeze's musicality was on fire. I'd give it to Breeze, but dope battle.

You should watch it again, I think youre wrong on this one. Breeze Lee is a great dancer, but Slim has a much deeper musicality than that. You just have to watch it again.

+Beat Wave All Im saying is this, its not all about hitting all the beats of the music with really good moves. Sure that makes you a really good dancer, but I've learned recently that there is something more than that that sets apart the best from the really good dancers. Watch dancers like Crazy Kyo, Gucchon, or more of Slim. These guys add patience and groove to their musicality. You might not see whats so special about them first, but if you rewind and watch their videos and you'll eventually get it.

+Jeric Gambon Musicality is accentuating the beats and backbeats of the music and creating a visual picture for them. In my opinion, Breeze did that better in this battle. The Judges, along with yourself, think otherwise and that's fine by me.

+Jeric Gambon Yes groove is important, but it's not everything.

Slimboogie is the best popper in the world right now, hands down. He got it all, musicality, groove, animation, explosive and straight up very technical.

Clean rounds from both. Slim was impressive as always but damn breeze lee was on fire. Good win slim.

Love the fact that Slim is always smiling during all his battles

That was super hard to judge. Big fan of both, but if I had to give the edge, I think I'd go with breeze for this by a pixel.

anyone else get the feeling Slim was toying with him in the first round? Regardless, he killed it.

Breeze lee took that but if you battle slim then chances are the judges will lean that way so wasnt surprised

If you watch the video a couple of times you will notice how deep Slims musicality is.
