Breeding time for the Kalahari Reds!
After waiting for September to arrive we finally add the ram/buck to the ewes! At 5 months gestation time the lambing should take place around the end of January, after which the ewes will be back with the ram as soon as they go back in heat. Young ewes are on the mating weight and weaned ewes go back to the ram/buck

do you make your own feeds? if so, what is the composition of your feed? your flock are amazingly healthy!

Hi. Thank you very much! Yes the lady looks after them make her own pellets, consisting of lucerne, maize and a concentrate specifically design for her by a veterinary dietician.
