Cheers from Maine! There's an OG up here who has a cut of 98 SSH and holy wow is that my favorite smoke ever. If you were on ICMag you probably saw him on there, the Crazy Composer. He's part of the Chemdog family (I think, or at least knows some of them) so he has some really nice cuts, like AJ Sour Diesel and the 98 SSH I mentioned before.

Nice! I'm up north across the bordah with ya. Used to be a great SSH cut grown up here. Haven't seen it since mid 2000s. Same with Sour and NYC diesel . Both grown locally not sure what happened to the varieties. This is all in the early - mid 2000s.

Digging in on this one today. For us down south the Piff was just legend. Never seen it here. This will be interesting

I’m from Bayonne, NJ haze & piff was all we blew until sour came & dominated. But Piff was eventually referred to anything fire. Love the work boys keep it going 💪🏼

I know two growers who've been at it for decades that met Neville before those seeds were officially released. They were there at different times and didn't know each other then, but they both described Neville inviting them to sit down and smoke with him after they had been there a while and bought a lot of seeds to take home. They both said it was was scary strong in ways they had never experienced before then, and that he kept at least one quart mason jar of N haze seeds near him that he handed seeds out from. I know those seeds gifted from Neville were grown out on the West Coast of Canada and the Northeast US, and their descendents are still making the rounds in certain circles. They also both described certain phenos could green you right out, and give you a white knuckle high if you smoked too much before being used to it. I've always wanted to find any cuts or trusted descendants of those, because they sound incredible. I wouldn't even care about the 4+ month flowering time.

Just for the record: Soma got a G13xHzC male, not Haze A male. A5 & C5 were send state side way before Nevil left this earth and the C5 cut also made it to Ozz before Nevil left our realm. These cuts were send by Love to other outstanding private cultivators as hobby breeders long before Nevil made it to MNS, just so people know these cuts were definitely hoarded for decades in Holland but got shared by only 1 individual who chose to share these priceless cutts with kindred spirits throughout our world so that the right people were given a chance to acces them. The rest is here say. About the Haze I can only say, it’s not just the genetics, it’s maybe more about how to cultivate them to reveal their true potential. Good luck with that, haha! I've been searching for the cedar Christmas tree (the piff) strain since the 90's! Lord I got to get my hands on some of those beans. Closest thing I've grown has been chocolope it was damn close.

My kali mist pack is a lower # it’s 224 and I also am running a mango1x mango haze and Neville haze x ssh by beanho from 2010 I purchased them

Great Great Haze conversation.. 🤜🤛 All I know is I like that haze that smells like straight water and also you taste that water when you burn it not that earthy haze.. and the dark one that smells like straight dope when you crack open the budd.. One of the best ones is the green one that taste and smells like catpiss type citrus water.. God Bless

Original haze is still the best strain ever, nothing can even come close till this day, I have been growing it for for 26 years, I got it from my dad, he was growing it before me, I believe it’s mostly Thai.

Names in New York came from neighborhoods and then caught on in other neighborhoods. It's good to hear the history but all that stuff is gone. When I say gone I mean not in mass production. Oh sour, haze, skunk is still in NY but in small groups mostly upstate. Don't sleep on Mass they have a strong relationship with NY so it wouldn't surprise me if most of these strains are in small groups up there. Nice video

Only haze I have ever smoked was nebula and super silver both were amazing examples . The ss was pure white with fire red and orange hairs very light green and wispy

finally vaping on some Mendo P mystery hybrids from CSI!! Thanks Notsodog, it's awesome! Smells like grape Big League Chew gum, with something deeper, and tastes like salty grape pie. Great high. The other mystery hybrid I love is more potent, but smells "dryer" and more chem (paper factory)

I'm growing Nevilles Haze in a grow tent right now. 6 weeks from seed in 30 gallon pot already bigger than my 11 week old Liberty haze so decide to flip it to flower with another 11 week old plant. Really hope it flowers under 12/12, or it looks like I will be doing some light dep to get it to flower ouside

I wish all these haze lines that are not Columbian would be re-branded. Some have bred out the Columbian completely. Or have no Columbian at all in its genetics. Dog shit looks like it would be a nice haze hybrid.

I'll try that sativa light schedule for these I got

I got 200 seeds from plant builder out of bc, 5 lines, 2 sweet skunk f3 lines, and 3 seedsman haze s1 bag seeds from a protected cut, bred to the same 2 or 3 sweet skunk males from white buffalo. I grew 2 of the f3, one from each line, one was lemon scented but tasted like soap, the other was carrots and spices but taste like spicy hash, the buzz ont he lemon soap was special but I didn't like the smell.

Karel telling lies lol. His oldschool haze cutting he is hidding now is nevils skunk x haze-a. They have made seeds by crossing that to sams skunk x haze. Sssc used to seel seeds of nevils other haze hybrids to like south african x haze.

Used to get some really nice haze in Manchester about a decade ago. Properly cured etc. Struggle to find good quality hazes now which is annoying. Other stuff just doesn't do it for me.

i have a crazy blueberry ak 47 cotton candy x durban poison silver haze orange tree and the haze really gives you this punchy euphoric high like a haze but finishes in 9 weeks

Piff coast is a very nice dude - like him a lot. With that said I’ve never grown his seeds or smoked his Piff so I cannot comment. When I made the first Piff crosses in 2009 - none of these cats were anywhere to be found chasing or buying Piff seeds back then. And that wasn’t that long ago, to me. There is Loyalty7Icmag who had legitimate Piff stuff he showed off and may have seeds - not sure on that one. And Haze Czar on Instagram is also one who holds that original old Frankie Piff cut. Everyone else I know works with bagseed from something someone sold them thag they told them was Piff of the fake “Cuban black haze” cut brought to the community by Inkognyto - responsible for the fake chem 3 and fake MSS as well. Beware the Piff traps. Piff - REAL church, Piff, Frankie, uptown haze - that is rare as hens teeth in seeds. I could bring it back, but when I worked it and sold it, not one pack sold. No one cared about or wanted Piff before it got hyped up, so they don’t deserve it now.

@@eliotchase @BreedersSyndicate not in the Tri-state or Down south. Piff has always been sought out just hard to find if you don't have the connects outside of NY. Piff Coast Farms piff and sour crosses always selling out.

C5 (1) isnt around, the cuts floating around around are nothing like that #1. Hardly any original ssh left either, you'll be lucky if you can find the 1997-98 ssh still its all ghs and shantis versions now.

bro here in the UK the SSH and amnesia haze was off the charts back in 03-2015/16 but now in 2024 the haze is something completely different, none of the peppery and pine flavours......its very disheartening😢

The best haze in The Heights is Post Haze...! Autobaun Haze in Harlem is different as well. It has been a NY thing for a long long time and many of us grew up only smoking Haze. PIFF=Haze that haze purple hairs..
