"Nothing is more fun than painting 10,000 individual bricks that no one will ever notice." Look at it this way: If you hadn't done it, it wouldn't be missed. But since you did, it's a wonderful bit of detailing that even if it goes unmentioned definitely adds to the beauty of the piece.

Maybe you could undertake larger projects if you split the video into two releases. That could buy you a bit of time, and maybe take some of the pressure off. I think you could make it work with the same format, with glamours of the progress and such. I also think it would be amazing to see what you can create in double the time. Maybe you can make a poll to see what the wider community thinks.

I agree with this! like detailed videos about small pieces that lead up to a larger piece when putting them all together

Breath of the Wild is such a good game that just watching halfway through this video made me need to complete the game for a fourth time.

I was reading Creating a Champion and I felt so bad for the designers of botw because I realized they had to make a complete kingdom and then redesign it be destroyed, making two whole separate things just for the outcome to look technically worst. This video reminds me of the dedication to sticking to a style and story and its really admirable

I love how he says "Carefully remove the window frames." as he literally tries to play a piano on it

You are finally the very first KZread channel I have ever noticed that takes a significant time to demonstrate the final product. Most the time do spend 18 minutes showing how they did it and then only 30 seconds displaying their finished product. And that is the most satisfying part of your video thank you

This turned out looking fantastic! ABSOLUTELY in love with the layered roof! Made the 'battle damage' look all the more convincing!

ooh, this is exactly my aesthetic! the temple of time in that game is one of my favorite places in any videogame- it's just such a lovely place for pondering- really makes me wonder about the people who went there before, and the history of that old place. awesome build!

Love it! I would be extremely interested in seeing you tackle a Portal 2 test chamber with all of the weathering and plant life. Maybe putting that blue semi transparent fimo to use for the light bridges and blue portal....??

I LOVE miniature things a LOT, and seeing these miniature pros is actually so impressive and addicting to watch. I wish I had all those materials to make rly realistic things but currently Im just tryna make a house from Zelda with some cardboard and paper lmao

I can't believe I haven't come across your channel before - A new subscriber well earned! And yeah, brick coursings are one of the most maddening things to render into an illustration or a model - Back in school I had a large architectural model for which, after scoring out the horizontal coursings, I decided to add vertical coursings as well. That single decision gave me an extra 8 hours of work and I swore never to do bricks by hand again if I could help it!

It's really cool hearing how much more confident you sound in newer videos, still love them all, just really enjoy seeing/hearing development from artists, it's inspiring!

This was my first North of the Border video. It's amazing to see how much you've refined your style in the past 1-2 years.

I know this is an older video but, maybe what you could do when you have time is make a sort of "lid" or "cover" of the front of the temple that can sit in front of the nook loosely, that way you can have either the full temple or the opened up version? For example if you have a bookshelf that has longer shelves that stick out more.

This is amazing, you forgot the ladder on the side of the temple, but that doesn’t even matter when the final product looks this good

This is just...so, so beautiful.
