So happy for you!!! My mother just got diagnosed yesterday with Inflammatory stage 3. We have been handling like any family would.... so/so. They assumed my mother had an infection in her milk ducts and gave her an antibiotic. And before the antibiotic, her mammogram showed an abnormal lymph node near her left breast, almost under the arm, and a possible "benign" growth. They did not alert her back in May and it is now the end of September, so she is starting chemo soon. I pray for everyone who gets any sort of cancer diagnosis, it's not at all easy. :(

Me too, found stage IV into my bones. ER to surgeon 48 hr scheduled biopsies within 1 week. 2nd visit with surgeon, beyond surgery, scheduled port insertion 5:30 next morn (week 2) started chemo mon week 3. 3 months in went for radiation to treat bones but dr offered experiment on IBC which I took. This bought me enough time that when the chemo turned on me, a new hormone treatment was approved & I am currently on. IbC under control but wow is bone cancer painful.

Hello! I am glad to see you are kicking cancer's butt! My mother just got this diagnosis yesterday (inflammatory breast cancer stage 3) - had her breast care center said something in May, she'd been able to catch it sooner. She is starting chemo soon. She is set up for another biopsy (one of her lymph node) and then the port set up on her chest. Praying that your journey is going well.
