Breast Augmentation Story | Going for the 3rd time + Q&A

Hello guys. Today I’m bringing to you a personal story, that unless you’re close to me you wouldn’t have known. I was told I had Poland syndrome in 2012 and honestly it was a relief to know I wasn’t alone that there were more people who have had this condition. If you are experiencing this or have just know you’re not alone. I hope you guys find this video informative. Thank you for watching, I’ll see you in the next one.

Omg! I had the exact same problem. I didn’t get them “fixed” until I was 28 😢 i would literally cry almost every time I got dressed. I was never intimate with my husband with lights on 💔 I was happy with them for many yrs after the augmentation but recently I started noticing a difference again. I just went for my second surgery 3 weeks ago. They’re still not asymmetrical but way better than before. Thank you for sharing .. I’ve never really heard anyone else having this problem

Okay first of all, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for sharing your story. I am 26 years old and just now finally knowing that I have this syndrome.I am the same way one boob is a double d and the other one is a b right now. At 16 I finally showed my mom because we were going to the lake with a bunch of friends and i was terrified of wear a bathing suit because there was no way i was going to be able to hide it. We went to Kaiser for answers and the doctor told us that it is normal and continued to say some people have one foot bigger than the other, hands, etc. And i am just mind blown that i got misinformed about this by my doctor. I would cry so many times because I wasn't "normal" and was so insecure and still am about it.Thank you so much again for sharing your story because I really identified with you in this video. Please record your journey this time around because I've been thinking of doing an operation like this for a long time but just wanted more info on it.

You have no idea how happy I am that my video found you. I could only Imagine the stories we could share. It’s sad when we can’t trust our doctors. I really hope you figure out what’s best for you and get whatever you feel comfortable getting done because it does feel like a weight lifted off your shoulders when you do. Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. 🤍

Good luck with your surgery. I had an extreme augmentation due to cancer which was the most aggressive highest mortality rate of all breast cancers. I had both breasts removed even though the cancer was in one breast. My breast were 52 size Cup was J. My surgeon who I adored jokingly said they were M cup size. I said if we are going magnify the size we should make a Q size. I said that sounds better for better for story telling. It was hilarious when her new inters or Med students started doing rotations with her. You could see them trying to imagine what Q size would look like. Most were guys and they asked curious but nothing weird actually. Or at least their questions weren’t inappropriate. The might tried to see a home on dance pole with boobs that size. But they asked did it effect my back and such. Luckily my surgeon was a female as were all the doctors involved with my cancer care except for my primary care doctor. Who I had for twenty years. He was our token male doctor on the team. Yes back pain will improved. Large breast will lose muscle with age causing them to hang down more which cause more back pain. Lifts and reductions help a lot. Other thing to potentially watch for fluid build up in your arms the upper. That is lymphedema and you should ask your doctor to refer you to lymphedema therapy specialist. They can provide specialized massages to help with draining the fluid. Also helping with exercises to strengthen your back. Don’t wait very long to get help. Some surgeons send you very soon after your surgery especially removal of breasts. However any changes to the breast may still cause some lymphedema. They can fit you for some compression sleeves that can help. Surgery to fix the sagging arm skin is very difficult and leaves some scarring under the arms. Just watch for it. My students at elementary school called them my bat wings. I would tell them that I was Bat woman. Third graders will believe such things still. Speedy recovery for you.
